No point, just by looking at the header, it's not meant for a stock bore or even a 57mm bore.

The 3 legged ones are lighter than stock, meaning the 8 legged is slightly heavier than the 3 legged which also means the 18 legged ones might be the heaviest among the 3. Of course this is my agar-agaration, will check it out at JB if i have the chance.

afternoon everyone.....

Hi guys,im considering between spark and x1r.currently doing research about bth bikes before i commit myself into one.i know bth are of the same cc and engine.still, there are a few things i want to clear my doubts of.

1.is it necessary to change the stock cdi to race cdi? If yes?what are the better options?

2.i dont like the foot rest.was thinking of changing it to race foot rest but i read the earlier posts stating that it gives problems where the gear cannot kick in?

All i want is a bike that can get me from point a to point b without that much problem and something that does not perform worst then a GN. Thanks in advance.

Cdi not necessary to change.. ppl change to draaag their rpms.

As for racing footrests, most sparks usually convert their rear drums to discs for better braking performance.

Ive been using racing footrests on my x1r for about a year 5 months already and no probs bout gear shifting.

You did research yet you state that both has the same cc, the T135/spark has 10cc more. It's a 135 whereas the KTM is a 125. Both having the same engine? Do you know what have you just said?

1. CDI - It has better mappings than the stock one and compensates certain modification done to the bike hence making it work better all around. Different CDI has also different RPM limits too.

2. Racing footrest - The only problem is, if you insist on still using the drum brake, you'll have only about 10% braking power at the back which is why many change to a rear disc set up. Can't kick into gear usually means the rider needs to build more leg muscles.

3. Bike for commuting - You want style, go for the Duke. You want endless modification, go for the Spark. There are people that i know who have done up their bikes to 211cc, 200+cc, 183cc, 157cc, 150cc and still ride it for daily use.
