You do know that for the price of 1 large pizza there, you could eat your heart out at Seoul Garden. :slapforehead:

 

Check the pump. Upgrade to better brake pumps. It should give you better braking power. Also re-bleed the lines. if you do not know how can go to your favourite bike shop to do it.To get better brakes you need to test all equipments to their failure point. Then upgrade one thing at a time. Steel braided lines also helps. :cool:

I've read a thread about the one at Geylang about a year ago, ppl said that shop like taxi. You buy one bulb in the day its $5, after midnight you buy its $15. Got 'midnight charge' one! Ahahaha! :faint:

yeahhh true.. btw.. i`ll be ridin a black/red FBA X1.. wif box.. moz prolly will be at ah boy as they open early.. myte proceed to AGL ltr in da afternoon.. holla if u see me too.. ;)

 

 

 

Mine also came wif rear disc n i`m usin racing footrest.. initially wasn`t dat effective also.. so i chged brakelines (partly cos of da colour).. if not re-bleed will be just fine.. n a fresh pair of pads too..

 

also use a reputable pump n caliper.. fer me i`m usin nissin.. which i tink is da minimum dat u shud use.. afterall.. brakes are impt n ur lyf is at stake wen u nid dem da most.. so brands lyk racing boy dun really cut out fer me wen it comes to brakes.. if i`m not wrong.. da previous owner of my bike is using honda phantom's rear pump n caliper setup.. so far its pretty reliable.. u can try 125z rear brake setup too..

Dun be too quick to change ur pump & calipers. My old X1 was on Racingboy rear disc brake system and it works just fine. I suggest you follow my first advice and see how it goes. You can have a Brembo set up but if your brakepads & 'bleeding' sucks, its as good as a 'Racingboy' too. Try my solution & if problem doesnt go away then get rid of the Racingboy.

I have a bm brembo rear master pump laying around somewhere.... Hehehe.... Or for all I know, it's on my bike already since it's at the shop... Whahaha....

If you think RB ones suck, try using a low grade local made one and im sure you wont say the RB ones suck. Im using the RB brake pump, stock brake line with local caliper, still can make it lock and skid.

You went in alone? RM380 at RB/Ah Boy? I think WK is around RM350. Why are you looking for stock monoshocks or are you talking about the modified stock version?

I have heard before somewhere they do have. Also have brake pads for the front. However do not hope of getting it easily. :cool:

Or do like how Xifu does it. Take one set of ordinary brake pads, scribble EBC on it and sell off. Same like what he did for the 'racing cdi'. Ahahahaha. Inside joke btw.

Got someone you know using the front ebc brake pads. The cdi can do like this also. :cool:

Hmm thanx Wak.. Gonna do some research when i get home..i also hav a pair of EBC brakepads for front calipers.. Waiting till my front pads worn out then change together with my brakeline.. Gonna look u up soon Wak.. Lets get ur hands DIRTY again.. :cool:
