Its a hit and miss thing. To be safe just stay with stock. Or you could take a risk and get the aftermarket ones. :cool:

Or just get any aftermarket CDI you want and just keep your stock CDI under your seat so in case something happens, you can just open up your bike, swop the CDIs and continue riding.

Or you could just bundle ori and aftermarket together.... So if it fails, just swop the connectors over.... S I M P E R ( like mitsubishi air con ad)......

Then in an event where short circuit occurs & your aftermarket CDI overheats & melt which i saw in one SG bike last year in JB, then your stock also gone liddat! Hahahaha. But that one i think really rare case. :lol:

Some say Rextor, some say BRT.

 

Both cost about SGD $140-$160.

 

But to me, the best is Moric. :)

 

Got my BRT cdi for $110.. :)

I am guessing you have no clue at all about motorcycles. Its best that you harness the basics before jumping to all these. Learn to walk before you learn to run. :cool:

It is good that you are eager to learn. Do learn about how a bike works first. What you were asking is more of like trying to learn convolution before even learning subtraction. Learn to walk before you learn to run. :cool:

Details for the outing will be out when the date is near. The date is already planned on the 23rd. Timing will usually be bout 730pm. As usual makan session then riding then chill chill somewhere. Will end bout 3am. Location not confirmed yet. Keep a lookout for more info here.
