hey guys, I really need some help here. Here goes, recently my bike had a stationary fall. So, I pick my bike up and tried to start it again. Everything was fine and engine was running as it should. But when I switch it off, and turn my ignition key back on, usually the green "N" would light up, but this time it doesn't. I kickstart the engine again and it runs.

 

I left it at the carpark for 3 days after that incident as I was away on overseas. When today I came back, my bike just wouldn't start up. The "N" doesn't light up and when I tried to kickstart my bike, I can only hear to 'tak-tak' sound and the "N" lights up then fades away again. I still can feel the compression but I'm not sure what is wrong with it. I'm really noob at this. I'm not sure if its the battery as before the fall, there are no signs of the battery weakening.

You just answered your own question if you have not noticed. :cool:

If i'm right, what you mean is my battery is weak or dead?. Anw, I just came back sweating, trying to push start my bike. or if ever i did it right. Mine is a kick-start model so...I drop the gears one by one and just hope that it will run.

just drop 1 gear will do.. why 1 by 1?

cause push-starting requires momentum, and an electric starter. I just can't figure out how is that possible with my kick-start model. So I just try. Sit on bike, while on 1st gear. Clutch in and push bike. While on momentum, slightly release the clutch and try to kick down. Like I said, I'm no expert in this. I have no idea whatsoever how to do a push start on a kick-start motorcycle. Yes, I've never done it before.

 

The dropping of gear one by one is just a random thing. If you're desperate, you'll try anything right??

 

Anyway, a 70cent distilled water from shopnsave, practically saved my bike. Found out my battery electrolyte level was near the bottom. Thanks to the people here who gave me ideas on what to do :cheers: :thumb:

 

Now...my gear lights on my dashboard doesn't light up when I turn the key...:faint:

just drop yr gear to gear 1 or 2... den clutch in...push to 5km/hr or 10km/hr den let go of clutch den open throttle abit can le to push start...hope this help

Hello guys.. any idea where can i get those front covered basket? Not those mesh types. With lock types.. and any idea how much as well? Thanks!!

Hi guys,i just bought the 2012 135 spark. think now they call it Jupiter T135. 5 sp manual. front n rear disc but single piston.

 

front basket $65, with cover and lock. those look like box type, matt black. cant wait to collect.

 

dunno if the older spark rack can fit the current model

hi its 5 speed, $5900 everything in except insurance. seems like the tyres for this model are wider than the older model.
