Painting of tires wordings

go mustafa buy.. got 2 brand.. uni and dono wat.. both oso nt bad.. color tyre mus touch up on weekly basis one.. if nt the color will drop.. due to dirt/expansion of tyres

Yup,i've tried uni brand before but not so good.I'm looking at the US brand called Markal,very good reviews,place order for 2 pens already.

Well if you want to paint it white.....

 

 

can get those paint markers and do it yourself. before you tell the mech to fix it on maybe u tell him you wanna do some doodling on the tyres..

 

well some will LOL @ u at the moto tiam... if u like it then go ahead lor.

 

 

anyway the white wording will stay clean for maybe 1 -2 weeks after that become brown and fade off. so abit point less.

My take? Use the Soft 99 marker as a base-coat (it bonds into the tyre surface), then paint over with Zig "Painty" ...

hahah can go hardware shop buy one small bottle of white paint, then use marker tip to dip and paint... i think also can ......

Tyre makers would be very happy cos the consumers are helping dem to promote their tyres by colouring the wordings on the tyres .. Hahahahaha....

best color for tyre will be orange... unipaint orange.... the words will be veri2 clear... or try using red... but red if after long time never touch up, color will fade to be pinkish like tat... for me im using orange is the best.... color fade still the same...

ya uni brand paint market quite good can consider n u should be able to get it over at any giant

surprisingly! i used paint ... those paints which we used to paint our house and a unused market tip to dip and colour my tyre .... it works ! however, the paint cannot be too wet, if not will drip .....

I was just wondering if you could use spray paint...like just mask out all the other bits and spray over the bits you want coloured. isn't that a lot easier? then again, the paint might bleed over if the masking isn't done correctly.
