Scooters, kup cias (2 and 4 strokes) and pocket bikes.

 

On Saturday 20 Jun, Free practice for participants from noon to 1 PM, after that is qualifying.

 

Sunday.. races start after 9 am.

 

After this weekend... Tuas track will not exist anymore. :cry:

 

Ahh ! i've heard about that news also. So sad ! Just when i am braving myself to enter a track, this had to happen. Looks like i wont have the chance anytime soon. :cry:

One more week to the cub race at Tuas.

tks bro....:)he definately has to be happy wif our performance.... in fact gettin onto the podium was a bonus for both of us n it was a really tough weekend..:)i was not getting result for the last race so i believe luck is on my side tis time:cheeky:......so how was ur race bro?

Thanks Bro... as was seen... I sucked at launching off a 2 stroker from the start. I think my whole team felt like killing me when they saw my start in both heats.

 

I created alot of work for myself having to chase down the leaders after that.

 

That weekend was the 5th ride for me on the little 2 stroker... and yeah.. I was so intent on familiarising myself with the bike and clocking good lap times during the practices I totally forgot about practicing my starts.

 

Lesson learnt from this... you can be fast, your machine can be fast...but if you suck at the start.. its a lot of work in your hands by the next corner. :cry:

 

Anyway... wish you speedy recovery!! :cheers:

congrats....too bad i injured my wrist three days b4 race day while practicing...now hv to do surgery...if i know i wont b joining dat race or go practice

very heart broken tt with the track closure, it means i wont be able to track in SG nomore..

But if it's true, like wat Raptor said, tt there will be a new track soon, it'll sure to put a smile back in me..

The race calendar for the Kups will be 5 rounds for this year... the first round will be on the last weekend of this month on 25th/26th July.

 

Its probably going to be like a race a month till the end of this year.

 

This info is for your forward planning.

 

 

PS - Yeah... I rode a Y125Z prepared by Abboy Motor Racing (Kallang Ave Industrial Park) in the Open Novice category in the last race. The non matching colours of the fairing was due to my lowside at Turn 2 on the 4th lap of qualifying. I am flying the colours of France only by default and not intent.

Kup Cai Races at Tuas on the weekend of 25/26 July.

 

Qualifying on Saturday afternoon and the races on Sunday.

 

Two more weekends left for practises. :(

 

PS - This race is Round 1 of 5 for this year's series. The previous races do not count towards this series.
