and be careful of people trying to sell their bikes at ridiculous prices...just because their bikes are rare...an example of a rare bike? well...ksr110 pretty darn rare i have to say...

Just my 2 cents worth...wouldnt like to see ppl get cheated of their hard earn money if you noe wat i mean

cheers

Please be careful about what you say of owners selling their KSR. first of all, it don't need a rare bike for ppl to sell at ridiculous price. anybody who does not know the market price can also ask for the sky with their price. owners who sell their bikes at a price that may seem high have their reasons. do you know how much they have spent to do up their bikes? do you know what they will include with the bike they sell? even a normal RXK can sell at a high price not becos of the bike but mainly because they hold a very rare number plate.

If you have no constructive opinions to add, please keep your comments to yourself. Because it is very obvious you are pin pointing at someone.

I like it because it gives me confidence, it'll let me challenge myself....

everytime iI ride on it, and discovers the wind is in front of me, I throttle, it'll let me race with the wind.......

I lay low, to reduce wind drag, keep racing forward.....

in the end I won against the wind.....

just one more thing to add...

i'm going to admit that i made a mistake in judging prematurely which was why i clarified with the seller

you are entitled to your opinions but there's no need to make it sound like a great injustice was laid on you while your back was turned

if it satisfies u...my apologies to the seller here...

cheers

Hmmm... Helllo..... off the topic la you two guys..

Don't want to interfere.. and dont want to know details also...

But can I clarify my understanding on the insurance bit? Is it like covered according to the bike you're going to ride, or as long as you have your own insurance you can ride any bike you want?

If it's linked to the bike you ride, then is it like if got sub-riders, the insurance is "shared" coz you riding same bike? Then will the insurance be like "divided" or each to their own insurance?

Also, about the loan thingy... Is it better to go shop and ask for re-finance or take from Hitachi Credits? What are the criterias from both? I mean like let say, the owner has fully paid for the bike and want to sell.. Which would be a better choice between the two said above?

Many many thanks!

I'd say, for 2K its better to pay full cash for it.

I doubt hitachi or any other shop will be willing to provide the loan. Alternatively you can go to singpost ezycash for a loan as well. Might be an easier option.

if u wan normal de then get wave or cubs handling wise good ...

well, i have read everything before i decided to write the previous, you posted your concern for ppl not to be cheated of their hard earned money minutes after you commented on the seller about his attitude in the forum. you cleared the misunderstanding with him hours later but you did not clarify it was a misunderstanding in this thread.

as a KSR rider myself i felt the injustice because i know how much i paid for the bike. if you need a breakdown on why the seller was selling at that price i can roughly explain why. although it would be just a rough guide it should be somewhere close. and i know the seller personally.

as for why i put constructive comments, it's simply because we are only bystanders. we cannot decide for the seller if the price is too high, nor can we decide for the buyer if the product is wort it or not. this thread started as a recommendation for a lady on her first bike, so shouldn't we just concentrate on giving information on the bikes recommended rather than the price? let the buyer decide on the worthiness of the bike on the price.

there is another fella who is really not giving constructive recommendation. asking someone who is going to get her licence to get a hayabusa. when you read that how would you feel?

i hope you know what i mean, and my previous was not written in an angry tone.

so cheers.
