Just read from other forum from DT owner feed back cannot fit 2 full face.

DT owner what think you?

Some even say can't fit even 3/4.

Especially the front.

DT125i/300i under seat can fit standard 2 full face helmet without fancy protrude air vent

Does anyone one knows if scooter, kymco downtown rather can use car engine oil instead of motorcycle oil or scooter oil?

For engine oil there is no different between car and acooter and it always depend on the viscosity.

And i also notice Engine oil is 5w50 for kymco compared to piaggio 5w40, anyone know the reason as to why kymco chose a higher viscosity. Temperature range is higher so are the thickness of oil which causes more drag.

You can use 5w/40-50w for kymco scooter. For 5w is for cold start to reduce wear and 40-50w is for cylinder sleeve lubrication and the thickness will not cause any drag. It also act to cool down magneto coil for over heating.

And the spark plug too it's running NGK CR7E type spark plug which is a slighty hotter plug then an 8. What are the effects of changing to CR8E. I guess the designer already know what is best for the scoot but just for general knowledge. CR7EIX Iridium seems good.

For plug with the number 7 is standard and it depend on the climate, cold climate use lower number and hot climate use higher number. For Singapore 7-9 is ok to use.

Actually trying to find info on web but very limited currently, so if anyone knows this issue may like to enlighten us who maybe interested. Thanks.

Hope the above enlighten your doubts
