Hey thank you Sg,

i used yr calculation to calculate my last topup of 19L...my fuel consumption is about 18 Km per Litre...not too bad...which means i can travel up to 414km/259miles!!

Cool man! :thumb:

My observations on a Divvy's 'normally functioning' fuel indicator. Esp useful when exploring new places and no petrol station in sight.

Some buggers i noe get kan jiong at the 1/4 mark liao :cheeky:..

1/2 tank mark ~ 9.25L

1/4 tank mark ~ 13L

Reserve light ~ 18.5L

Done dry ~ slightly under 23L.

Also the consumption is ard:

>7000rpm ~ 12km/l n below

This figures are derived from a stock setting, 62cm windscreen & wide assed panniers. With a pillion it will drop slightly but not much.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

AU$110 or AU$100 is product price exclusive of shipping cost.

Hi mctan,

On Saturday!- I might not be able to meet you guys, last minute kena do night shift! ~berry, berry sorry guys...

There always some other days...:sian:

About the EagleScreen check the earlier threads- when "SUN" replied to John(eagle screen) and the pricings...you can use it as a guide..

Before you go further check ~ backOFF(former "sun's" bike) and custom's bike...to have the better picture about the EagleScreen's height and colour!

I don't know about you guys- but for me givi gives the OEM look! and I'm happy/satisfied with it's height.

Hi handsomebuggers,

Jleo experienced calculation!

1/2 tank mark (used) 9.25L

1/4 tank mark (used) 13L

Reserve light (used) 18.5L

Bone dry ~ slightly under 23L.

Diversion fuel tank was 24 litre as claimed by Yam- but due to the design with the added - fuel guage(float) fuel cap seat and air locks it is about 23litre+/-...

a)

b)

c)

d)

e) >7000rpm ~ 12km/l n below

Infact all diversion fuel consumption are around the shown figure +/- (and it is what your RIGHT-hands'-doing....he,he,heee!)..If it is, more then this there could be something wrong..check for leaks,(new owner)lean setting, A/F mixture adjustment, choked air filter, under inflated tyres, foul plugs, the drag~ buggers too tall/wide it create the sail effect and as some mention earlier by Jleo ..

Whereas my calculation is your regular riding patern/normal usage... and all this/other calculations provided by us buggers is for your own knowledge on diversions' fuel consumption. No worries while traveling long distance..using this as a guide.! And Please remember that our bike odometer and tripmeter readings are in mileage!

Each side fairing consist of 2 parts, front ( the white colour part and back to suport the front.. cost $260 per side.

Windsheild that they are using cost $550+

Thus the Traffic police look alike cost ($260 X 2) + $550 = $1000++!!!

Ah Nick, don't mind I made some correction, there's 2 more piece of panels, these 2 are for the front deskboard portion. Total cost is slightly less than $2k.

mctan, the Eagle windscreen is good, however I dun like the flip up portion, if happened to look thru' it, got this blurr vision. Other than that, thumbs up!! :thumb:

hmmmm the price that i mention is wht they code.... in APril when i went down~ hahauh ~

Define Danger

More time on road = More Danger

Less time on road = Less Danger

Slower Speed = More Time On Road

Faster Speed = Less Time on Road

Thus

Less Time on Road = Less Danger = Faster Speed~~

Hi BackOff,

May I know what is the height of your windshield? Is it 280mm taller than OEM? May I have a tried on your windshield before I place order with Eagle.

While at HL, I took the Parts manuals for both the XJ9S & XJ9Police and compared. It's confirmed 5 parts, around $1.9k.

Anyone out there know the Army Major that owned the white XJ9 with Police cowling? :help:

You bought your bike from Sun, and the windshield is 280mm taller than OEM

which is 415+280=695mm.

Maybe I just need to sit on your bike estimate the height that suit me best.

No swapping. :cheeky: :cheeky:

Hi vtec666,

Have you calculate the total- how many kilometer usage per litre petrol, from there you know..!

From the last top up how many litre e.g 14litre

Miles travelled e.g 150

miles convert to Km 150 X 1.6 = 240km divide by 14litres = 17+ km per litre

this is my usage about 17 km per litre.

Diversion full tank is about 23 litre... ~ 23L X 17km or 10.6miles ~ I can travel or cover up to 390km/243miles till tank bone dry.

Some buggers can be high and some can be low it all depends on your riding style and moods...he,he,heee!

The fuel warning light always "on" earlier then usual...there should be a balance of 6l to 8l...inside.

Every top up make a calculation, then you know your style of riding...whether you on the high side or the low side... he,he,heee! have... FUN!

THANKS GUYS ,

At least now i know our bike is counting in miles per hour :cheeky:

ha ha :cheeky:

i have try so far can hit till 190mph plus , my E-line have at least light up , check my tank inside estimate got 1L till 2L left of petrol ,

maybe i should adjust my style of riding ......

THANKS ALL GUYS ......

Hi BackOFF,

Yes, the screen is good on normal/fine day rides but during raining season especially heavy rain- when rain is pounding on your screen -you can see nothing thru it :giddy: wish you had a wiper he,he,hee!

For the skidmarz most of you buggers, usualy see's over the screen rather then seeing thru it distorted(blur) view...

Most of the time I'm looking over the screen. I'm 1.78m tall, so no problem :thumb:

It's the begining stage when adjusting my rides, not knowing the blurr vision caused by the bending of the plastic. Now it's fine.

Hi vtec666,

I just like to know when you said you hit about 190miles plus "my E-line have atleast light up-got 1L to 2L left"...!

How much did you top up in total?

For What I Know that the folks at YDCN and we buggers experienced the fuel warning light always light up much earlier...! actually we can travel couple of miles more with the warning light 'on'...

Bro SG ,

I top up in JB , Full Tank that will be 23+ L , Right ?

well to be safe side , i just estimate by seeing inside the tank when it reaches E-Light and Fuel Warning lights up .... :cheeky:

so i estimate can only go few more miles wa, but not less 5 miles , i think cos i can see my petrol going to BONEDRY Soon when i reaches 190 MPH ..... (Thats where i see the light on .)

Is it Abnormal ?:giddy:

well i will still need some time to adjust my riding style .

might need a bit more time B4 i can jump to any Conclusion .... yet :cheeky:

Hi vtec666,

I don't know that ~ you can see thru how much litre left... because of the shape at the bottom..But you say, you top-up to 23litres plus that is almost EMPTY :faint: "Bro"....

I think you need to relax on your throttle controls...as you bought over OMDs' bike, which he recently(few months back before selling) tune it leaner...!

Bro SG,

Went to batu pahat a few times with abt 30mins of track rd.

This is only track rd that I've travel.

U know how I travel in track rd... hehe

Maybe when there is a trip to faser hill or genting then I can know how stable is the handle bar.

Till then, tested at 180 on NWH is stable as a rock is wat I've been through.

U should know how stable is our orginal handlebar.... hehehehe
