Good News:

Supplier have come in another 9 design.

If u don't like it, u have the options to return and ur money back.

1. hows d reliability of this bike? ie maintenance, its shaft capabilities

2. wads d value of d bike now plus its side boxes?

3. wads d top speed for it?

4. cruising speed of 180km/h possible at no prob?

It's a shaft...what can I say? Of course its RELIABLE! As long as you change

the shaft oil on schedule. Cost only about $10 per change, including

workmanship. Yes, it's only ten bucks.

Would you rather change sprockets and chains each year and lubricate them

now and then?

Around 10.5k for a FW plate. I'm selling mine cos got a FJR already.

Some speed demons here tried 240km/h, I only tried 200km/h max with pillion

and top box.

4. cruising speed of 180km/h possible at no prob?

Yes, no problem but preferrably w/o the extended w/shield.

Hi Riddick,

 

Think let the newby Divvy answer to ur questions...

 

Fuel Consumption for full tank can go ard 180-200miles depends on ur riding habib.. Once hit tat mill u have to prepare to top up ur fuel. I always go jb and top up and cost me ard RM$34-RM$36. If pump in s'pore sure koyak wan... Divvy meter run in miles and u can convert the miles to km by 1mile=1.6km.

Sad to say tat i cant join u guys on last Thurs and i'm looking forward for the next meet up..

Btwn I saw a silver Divvy at Blk 508 AMK. isit tat on of our kakilang here?

 

Can't wait to service my Divvy on 18.05.06(appt fixed) haha....

If speed btw 80km to 120km this bike drinks in mug (City riding)

If speed btw 120 to 180 km, this bike drinks in jug (Comfy touring)

If speed above 180km, this bike drinks in barrel. (Speeding)

 

City riding can travel about 190miles before reserve.

comfy touring can travel about 160 miles before reserve.

Speeding, about 130 miles before reserve.

 

Maybe others got better figure.

Has done 220miles before reserve lights came out not exceeding or maintening below 4.5rpm. between 200 to 210 miles is quite a norm for me, i travel from TPE to CTE & to PIE, usually almost 18.5 litres before the reserve light lighted. full tank is 22.5ltr. May be due to my soft riding style. Still very satisfy with its endurance & durability since bought in yr 2000. Still no major repair, has yet to scychronise my engine or change my fork oil, may be is time to!!

oh btw, they're from spain n they were act goin to dakar in africa.. i think it was in utopia if im not wrong.. said tat these pple dun rob u like valuables n stuff.. but they do need clothes so they tend to run off wit yr clothes bag.. hehe very sad to see these pple there n to hear abt their culture..

Yet to change fork oil since year 2000!

 

I've changed twice liao. 1st time is to harden it and 2nd time is becos the fook seals broke. (due to wear and time).

Got one bugger (FZ44) bought a 'Police' model from Mah Motors.

 

Stickers exactly like TP and it's white!

Wonder if he'll kena fined or not if stopped by ROV (for imitating ah gong's bikes.)

Bro, if fc is your main concern.... you might consider TDM 900. Big also, good fc, but its chain drive.
