Wah seriously? thats one expensive mineral oil. Im now on the $10 nasa from ah chong. Feels alright to me. Better than the fuchs definitely.

 

Saw the $6 15w50 and 15w40 $9 castrol eo from lab. So cheap.

However, Need to finish my putoline 15w50 first.

 

NASA a semi sys oil? cause i'm still looking on which EO to change.. 1.5k more to go...

 

LOL ... If You changing your EO.. Let me know dude.. Lets meet and change together.....

 

 

your millege how many already? i left 1.5k to clock before changing EO

Some spc petrol kiosk got workshop which can do bikes. The name of the oil i used is the said above, bottle is gold in colour. Dun buy the cheaper silver bottle k bro. Btw u might wanna check out Maxima if u want power. Honestly Maxima is way better than these 4 oils. Just use normal plugs k, dun waste money on those iridium plugs....phantom engine might not be able to fully utilise it. The money saved from buying an iridium plugs can get u a brand new air filter, cost $10 from Ah Boy....diy. If u want, u go buy the filter and i can help u show how to diy....

 

Actually fully syn can last way longer than semi syn. I know of some ppl stretching to 10 000km. Personally for me, the longest i'll use the fully is 5k. Dats cost TA200 does uses up engine oil.

i have stop using this....gear changes on my bike doesnt feel good ...

 

yeah this one cost me $65 to have oil change and oil filter...

EO is the stuff that protect your engine from wear and tear....

a simple anology is like blood that flow through ur body..without the good stuff wear and tear happens faster...and performance in every sense gets screwed.

den tat bottle of EO usually cost how much? is that a good EO?? i told the tech to chg n use normal 1 will do.. but after reading the forum.. most ppl say use semi as old bike will haf wider gap between somewhere... i also don know its syntheic base or semi for the one i chg.

when the bike is old, either fully syn or semi syn would be fine... its personal preference, due to the reason you mentioned. since I like to abuse my engine I stick to fully syn... :cheeky:

the eo which is hot in market is motu $26

maxium $2x

chex9000 $16

 

can be bought from planet

 

motul 300v from planet is a little expensive, because got a place wholeselling them elsewhere... buts thats fine for a one time oil change :smile:

 

well... there are too too too many different kind of EO out there... there are castrol, putoline, mobil, shell, maxima, motul, verity, belray, ows, agrip, redline, royal purple, etc...

using motul 300v, my topspeed increased from 136km/h to 142km/h (phantom speedo)... :cheeky:

planet sells it at $28. although there are places which sell them cheaper... check out the accessories forum... its fully syn... of course :smile:

try belray thumper 20w50 semi syn from unique motorsports. First 1000km is soso. After that... wish i didnt need to change at 2k.
