hallo UM supporters.. lots has been said abt UM servicing..

 

but just wondering how is the quality of their paint jobs?

 

thinking of getting my s4 rims n headers painted.. considering UM but the price they quote is almost triple of wat republic quoted..

 

anyone has any experience to share?

 

this my first time getting paintjob, so need some gd advice frm experienced forumers.. :angel:

Can say they are specialists on super 4, I got my headers reconditioned by them last yr, very well done, they sand the headers before spraying with high heat resistantance paint, very satisfied with the result. As for rims, I think they send to spray painting shop to do, my friend CBR600's rims also done by them, very nicely sprayed n good workmanship on installation. As for others, I believe if the price can diff so much means they mayb just use normal bottle can paint to spray for u. " u pay peanuts u get monkeys " cheers

Today I went to 3 bike shops to fix up my bike.

 

1st stop is my favourite Planet at Ubi.

2nd stop is at a big bike shop which shall remain unnamed.

3rd stop is at Unique.

 

Planet and Unique, good and friendly.

The 2nd shop...I went to see the helmets and jackets while my bike is being serviced. Very unfriendly sales girl, made me just walk out. This is not the first time already.

Come on, you are in sales line and if you sulk at the customers, then good luck.

went down yesterday to fix up the carbon Koso mirrors...saw the mechanics working on a red Super 4...look like a big job...

 

if that is ur bike, then u got no worries...

One should take lessons from Unique on how to treat customers right.

Very friendly services and fast. Clean workshop and a nice place for us to rest a while when the bike is being serviced.

hallo, just want to check with u, they sprayed ur headers with high temp black paint rite?

 

how long did the paint last before the "heat damage" starts to show on the headers paint?

I went to the Lavender (or was it the old Handy Rd branch) branch shop before, very friendly. I cant say the same for the other shop in question.

 

If the same items is available elsewhere, I dont find any reason to go back.

motorworld at lavendar there is great, they are always helping me wif my budget and what im looking for..but at kaki bukit there the 2nd flr sales girl like f up to me... the basement people are nice though tts the only reason i go there...never go to the 2nd flr for me...even if i go there i take note of what i want and go over to lavendar...there always have price cut..:thumb:
