Hi All,

Recently, I encountered this problem: The stray cats at my MSCP will sit on the bike seat and sometimes even pee on it. It's pretty disgusting to see cat fur on your seat early in the AM.

Any suggestions on products I can use to repel the cats (besides covering the bike with canvas)? TIA!

Haha i saw it on one of the bikes at my MSCP and the cat fur is really very disgusting. But i've seen the forum pple using Mediced oil or use plastic bags to cover their bikes.

What's those pointy things?

What if the rider himself, one day still sleepy and forgets about those, sits on it?:lol:

The solution is to buy catnip spray. Cats love it.

Then put it on other bikes and cars around you. That way they'll leave your bike alone.

i vote this!! :thumb: :thumb:

only thing is watch back every ten steps u take, cos u may be prone to flying helmets!! :goodluck:

Then he will confirm wake up immediately and never forget again! :cheeky:

Anyway I bought the device from Daiso IMM, 2 bucks only. It's sharp, but not that sharp to pierce skin (not like durian lah) and it's made of plastic so slightly flexible. :thumb:

i cover my bike and use a string weighed down on both ends to close the gap that is formed when we stretch the canvas over the seat area. really easy, just get 2 heavy things, i used pieces of a steel pipe and tie to both ends of a string. just cover the bike as usual then put the string on the seat(string on top of the cover). the gap between the seat and the cover where the cats sleep is thus eliminated.

using this for almost 1 year already, no more cats can climb onto the seat because the gap is gone.
