bro, cant totally agree with wat u say, sport bike doesnt mean very fast, some road bike is even faster sport.Outside there are many sporty bike than sport bike. Sport attire meaning suit or jacket ? the main point of wearing suit and jacket is not because riding on sport bike, is for the cause of own safety.

Normal riding, before reserve can go about 280km. Almost empty can go about 330km. If riding hard, then 200+km like that reserve lioz. :cheeky:

 

This is from honda official site.

 

Fuel Economy (km / L) (60km / h test values constant travel destination)

 

NC29 ('90 model)

35 km/L

 

NC23 ('89 model)

34 km/L

 

This is tested at 60km/h constant speed. And also probably a newer bike then us. :cheeky: Imagine 35km/L that's means can go 525km full tank. :faint:

 

 

Hmm... My fireblade only can hit around at most 230km for full-tank. Around that till 240, must open reserve le. And i always use 98 for all fuel and v-power for shell... Can faint. Think must be my riding thats causing such heavy fuel consumption!:dot:

depend on riding habit :)

 

i used to ride on 1st three gear, the FC can be reach 11km/L and

tried also all the way below 5000RPM(all gear), the best i get FC 22km/L

 

That's NC23 Hurricane :)

You always ride at 150km/h, 230km for full tank is very good lioz. :cheeky:

Actually... once my bike mileage hits 210km... I'll surely go to the petrol station le. One time around 220km.. My bike stalled on the road at the traffic light near Jurong Point. I thought bike broke down so ended up pushing to the side coz behind traffic stuck b'coz of me.... Then i open my tank. Empty! Anyway, i switch to reserve after that and am very afraid of riding nearing an empty tank coz later bike stop in the middle while travelling.

 

I dunno... though i move fast, I've friends that travel even faster. Like yesterday... Clementi Ave 6 corner using RvF at 80km/h with pillion somemore.... I think he's crazy. And crazy me, trying to overtake him, with my footrest grinding on the ground while i used all my strength to control my CBR. My pillion almost fainted.

 

Went home at 3am.... a CRB at BKE crap me at 180km/h while am travelling 130km/h with pillion and i exit at Bukit Panjang. ~Diao.

 

ABout tire pressure... tend to pump 270 for rear tire and 250 for front... More air, tire will roll better and smoother.

Last time... My Kawa fuel going at 30km per litre. Now CBR is like 20km per litre. Since my werk to and fro is just 35km. Total consumption of litre per day only around 2 litre.

afternoon everyone ! thanks for the reply on consumption of full tank , actually i tested it recently and i have cleared 245km and yet to open reserve leh . dunno true anot . haha .

couple of items to check , Speedo cable followed by the speedo-sprocket assembly thing which is located at ur gear level portion outside the front sprocket cover ( the device which measure ur speed depending on how fast ur sprocket is spinning)

 

If this 2 items no problem then maybe gotta service the meter, could be the spring inside worn out liao.. My speedo used to get stuck at 60 nia lol.. so use RPM to measure speed.

 

5000rpm - 80km/h

5500rpm - 90

6000rpm - 97++

10000rpm - 160km/h

 

how much roughly to replace? i think mine also spoilt
