i think yr "regulator" is thermostat..

how the mech see the flow of the water thru a small hole??

normally is take it out and put it in the hot water.. it will expand..

when the coolant isn't that hot, the flow is restricted by half.. and coolant is hot, the flow is full..

the checking of flow thru the hole can onli for pump checking and gasket checking..

:)

yaeh.. must be the termostat. haha.. Aiyoh, they check the flow through the reservior... If the collent inside got drain away everytime they rev... means werking. Then after revving, the coolent water will end up in the resevior again. The thing just flow in and out. lolx

Oh yaeh.. Am currently facing this issue too. i think u could change the "teeth" inside the gear box. My friend did it for his RvF coz also have the same problem. Dun cosr much $$$. Below SGD 100 can le. =)

Bro, you sure $100 can change "teeth"? :giddy:

From what I know to get to the gear shaft, must remove the engine from the frame and separate the crankcase halves. Then the "gearbox" got two shafts somemore, input shaft and output shaft. Just the labour I think will cost $100 already, change one of the gear dunno how much already. Might as overhaul when you do this, can save on the labour.

You toking about sprocket is it? :slapforehead:

Even sprocket with rear tyre also where can get $100 one? Unless is 2nd hand one. Tyre alone can cost about $100+ lioz. And always change chain and sprocket together.

Nah.. just that i ride fast.. Always on the road, whoever blow me... i tend to test the condition and feel of the bike with the other.

Easy to find de... Coz u go fast, some 400cc road user not that happy. lolx

600cc fine with me too. ~faint.

And race smartly la.. where got race, race for small kid wor... lolx.

Ppl who race r risk taker and will think out of the box and not follow conventional or smooth sailing means. One time i i fetch my manager from hill view to east coast... He leave me alone to do my job le. lolx.

aND the government sure loves obedient ppl that follow rules.. Push their wages down by making them cheap and make them work for life till 60yrs old to pay off their housing and their stuff(inflation is always rising more than income btw).... There's always a start to break rules for future rules breaking to prevent into falling into such a life.

I dunno about RVF, maybe the gearbox is easy to access. But fireblade I'm sure must remove the engine from frame to access the gears. Unless you're talking about clutch plates, then $100 is quite reasonable.

And your "yaya papaya" bit is getting abit old. I realised that I'm the only one who is entertaining you, I should follow the others and ignore you when you're "yaya papayaing".

Anyway.. i believe my selector pieces need to change. Sometimes my changing of gear got a "missed" and i ended up being in neutral in Gear 3 or at other active gears. lolx.

Must tighten my chain if possible... Feels like a bit loose. But Hua Chin boss says can't tighten. Must change new chain. :dot:

Go and see your swingarm there lah, if still can tighten.:sian:

lolx. If I use Gear 2 to travel, my engine become scrape metal liao....

Usually , i travel at Gear 6... coz the bike could pick up really fast even at that Gear too.

Usually, when fast, i just up gear... Up and Up till my last gear without me knowing... So i will be kicking all the way till i can't kick up anymore.

6th gear ...smooth wad.:thumb:
