Yep. Last time my meter got problem then i swapped meter cable and that sprocket-speedo assembly thing wtih my friend's rvf.

 

Cbr de quite easy coz alot of space to work on.. RVf headache.. wanna dismantle his sprocket-speedo assembly thing abit more difficult. I got spare speedo cable though u wan take go use lor lol.. last time buy new one to try end up not my cable fault.

 

Later gonna fifo at lunch time.. 293km liao lol..

Anybody know where i can buy a fuel tank for my Fireblade 954 RR ? my tank bust i need one very urgently.

 

if u wanna new tank, can try Chong Aik, FJT, Eversuccess..

these 3 shops are located around the same area..

If these 3 oso dun hav, hav to look for boon siew le..

if u wanna 2nd hand one, can try scrapyard or bike shops..

bro then 5krpm change better or 6krpm change better.coz i realise my yoshi sound from 5k onwards abit louder than usual.was wondering the valve open isit.so 5krpm the valve nt open then can save more petrol?

 

tire pressure is a subjective topic..

must see wat is the situation the tyre is being used..

 

if pressure is low(reasonable low like 27PSI)

Advantages - more contact between the road and the tyre.. better grip during wet riding or within the tyre heat cycle/range..

Disadvantages - cannot use for long distance travel. tyre will prematurely heated. side walls of the tyre will soften.. giving a unstable ride during straight and corners.. tyre wear off much faster.. FC will oso increase..

 

if pressure is juz nice(33PSI)

Advantages - Better FC, Tyre wear off rate is at normal range. tyre will not heat up so fast... side wall still maintain its rigidity.

Disadvantage - tyre heat up is slower.. therefore, the grip u need is slower to achieve. contact area between the road and tyre is lesser compare to lower PSI tyre..

 

if pressure is exceeded the rite pressure (35~36PSI)

Advantages - Better FC, Tyre wear off is kept at minimum.. Tyre will heat up at more slower pace.. Side wall maintain its rigidity.. much rounder profile(easier to lean/dive to the corner)..

Disadvantages - Much less grip provided.. will feel bouncy when travel on uneven surface..

IMHO headlight color shouldn't be an issue. I HAD been using philips diamondvision (White) for 3yrs. No issue. Din blow or anything, I'm not using it anymore coz I stupid drop one of it during my DIY session. :giddy:

 

White light - 12V 60W/55W

Normal light 12V 60W/55W

 

Both same mah. Only difference is the color temperature.

 

I'm now using a 35W/35W normal light (orange) like what bro fx110 is using. Maybe you can try it also. He mentioned is not very bright, but seems to me is quite bright leh. :cheeky:

Hi Kelvin,

 

Dun worry... it will slowly recover.

 

Due to vehicle inspection was nearing at that time while my white light bulb not giving out any lights or high beam or flickle light most of the times(sometimes got light for a min or two only) I changed to normal light instead thinking that maybe the bulb is spolit.

 

But after i've switched to it... AT first have light but then in a day or two also sometimes have light and sometimes no light. lolx.

But since have to send for inspection and kinda late le... So i no choice and just try my luck. During there, i kept playing with the switch till the lights came out... Many on/off trys.

 

The problem persisted till a week or two later... And now, its woking great. =)

i need to change one cause, when rev high, coolant frm radiator tend to flow back to my reservior, and thus flooding my reservior and leak. In the end i ride with little coolant in my radiator, and engine very hot, on fan also no use. :sian:
