To all the cbr riders out there need ur reference to trouble shoot my bike problem ... May i know where is ur temp guage showing during normal road use ?? Also when touring at malaysia cruising around 150km/hr ~ 180km/hr , RPM around at 9000 ~ 13 000 what is ur temp guage showing n also does the temp guage goes up slowly or very fast ??? There is a wording TEMP at the temp guage , it will be great if u guys can help me by telling me where is the temp guage showing .. Thanks in advanced

At 9k to 13k cruising (last gear), my temp usually between "T" and "E" or at "E", seldom goes beyond "E", depending on time of the day (weather conditions too).

 

Didn't monitor how fast it went up though.

wa... bro careful siol... check ur coolant i tt time also like tt den in the end check wif mech den noe its cos the radiator dirty or spoilt.... now ok oredi mostly at in between E or M durin day time and E durin nite time...

bro hmm like dat like maybe coolant low? or mite be water pump nt working? mine use to be like dat. but afta chge water pump its like 1/4 for normal riding maximum also increase till half. if hot weather will rise fast but wen i ride at express way at 9okm/hr it will decrease. hmm. but nw my fan not working. haha. damn. need to make a fan switch. anyone knows how much?

hmm... juz to check izzit normal for the TEMP to reach the M goin P on the guage when there is a real big JAM like it take minutes for the traffic to move tt kind? anyways i also makin the fan switch thingy hopin to make the fan able to b turned on manually and also auto on when it hits a high temp... cost ard 15 to 20 bucks i asked a few bike shops oredi mostly quote me ard tis price... they juz connect the wire to a switch onli... i tink...

i think touring temp will go up quite high, cos when i ride from punggol to jurong on highway non-stop 120-140, it hits around P area... If ride from punggol to town middle of temp gauge or less... if got traffic light, moving off n stop temp quite low... I think if wack non-stop without stopping temp will go around 3/4 range for long distance during daytime... This is for my bike dunno about the rest...

mine i will normally on my manual fan switch all the way when i ride when tour to kulai or clear carbon at second link.in sg frm simei to jurong without on the fan temp at letter e bah.only gt twice-one is radiator hose burst which supera saw my temp go all the way to h very fast and the other one is frm jurong to bt merah to serangoon and then republic my temp close to h as my fan fuse blown lol

temp will remain between EM, my speed is 140-170km/h(8500-11000RPM)

for better cooling at high speed,

u can adding the radiator's air induct, increase the air-flow at high speed.

same here bro... my temp like go up pretti high when i keep stopin for traffic lites and esp traffic jams like on PIE or CTE durin day time... temp can go till M goin P but nva reach P b4... when speed hits above 120 the temp will drop to in between E and M and stay there oredi... is tt normal??

yea, if on the move at a constant speed above 120 and the temp goes up then something is probably wrong!

Thanks for the info ... I manage to find the root of the problem liao .. It just happen while my gf was touring with me to genting when it happens .. The last time around when we travel to cameroon non of these things happen .. I really appreciate for the info share by the fellow riders thank you ..

Erm, nope. Working in town, and i change my route to work based on timing of my working shifts (PIE, AYE or minor roads)... but i don't think i'll go pass Jurong Island anytime soon.

 

If its rather long ago, probably same bike different owner?

icic my temp rise up normal ridin to ard E but when in carpark lookin for lot it kind rise v fast and 1 thin i do hate is tt nowadays CTE and PIE always jam durin the day...
