Mechanic say must change fuel pump.. How much does changing of fuel pump cost? Anyone change it b4?

 

last min cost abt 180 bucks if i nv remember wrongly..

have the mech open up the pump and show u y pump must change?

u can oso change the fuel filter at the same time too..

Hmm not yet.. Cos they tow my bike so i call them to ask whats wrong with the bike.. They call me bk few hours later say its because of fuel pump must change..

I guesss sometimes buying from shop not too bad too.. I had smoke coming out from my left side fairing too.. when i stopped at traffic light, i tot gna catch fire alrdy so scared... then end up tow back shop too but lucky for me, shop willing repair for me for free..

change a hose connectign to the airbox* I think* cus of the strong petrolish smell.. realised it was eo instead...

Thanks.. Fuel pump so expensive.. Speedway quote me 200 plus.. Wah...

 

If I were you, I would buy from FJT and fix myself. If you can remove your tank, you sure can fix yourself one. FJT selling 110 like that nia... :)

probably this sunday afternoon, will be coming back by sunset which is ard 6+ or earlier depending situation like ppl wan walk ard....basically its a pump petrol eat A&W and come back trip :) you can ta-pao if u wan lolz!

Not sure of the voltage.. But now there no more sound at all.. Cant start..

 

Couldnt be the batt or wiring as the light all still works..

 

Tried push start but still no start..

 

Could it be the starter kit?

 

tt time i oso cant start my bike, den i call ah beng (bikeworkz) den he asked me to play ard wid de fuel wires and also de engine stop switch, den wad i realise aft de call is tt, i accidentally go n off my engine stop switch. lolx.

 

lol sounds like machiam push start a truck or something haha...:cheeky:

 

Actually push start is very easy and able to do without anyone's assistance. Engage 2nd gear and clutch in and push the bike like 10 metres with a little speed then throw the clutch and give it gas... Once engine starts, quickly clutch in and rev the bike a few time so that it's doesn't die again...

 

A long time back when I was unemployed my bike couldn't start unless push start... I had to push start everytime I wanna go anywhere for like a month or so... :giddy:

 

serious ah? for me i ting i cant push start, did try before on my small bike last time, but still duno how. lolx. i ting if now ask me push start my cbr, ting my leg will cramp for duno how mani week. ever since i push my bike up cus my bike drop, my arm still have de aching. sian.

iridium more firing power so u feel the power boost more lor and change only like 2 cycle of full service

 

which is better ngk or denso ?

anybody using iridium spark plug now ?

can give feedback ?
