maybe is yr kidney float get struck??

or yr idling is too high..

maybe u can try lower the idling 1st.. the ilding knod is at the left side of yr bike.. turn anti clockwise to lower the idling and clockwise to increase..

i got a question ..

my friend cbr can't start... got the tiak tiak sound from the back .. but dun have the crank sound ... in the end .. i help him push start.. and i press the start button ... got the crank sound .. and start..

what is the main problem behind this ??

issit his spark plug spoilt ??

but i touch all the header, its hot .. all 4 of it is hot....

need help.

 

and also heard from my friend his spark plug long long nv change le .. got 1 year plus ...

cbr stock endcan uses a ring/loop and hanger to secure to the subframe...s4 endcan has a metal plate welded on the endcan to secure to the pillion footrest's extension...

 

change cbr endcan to s4 still look swee...change s4 endcan to cbr buay swee liao, haha... :cheeky:

 

anyway, wanna change endcan...nowadays so many street-legal aftermarket endcans available for 400cc bikes mah...

 

get the yoshi cyclone full system lah...shiny headers n midsection plus a tri-oval lookalike endcan...street-legal somemore...get liao we can all check it out...heh heh heh...

:help:

Do change ur coolent at the same time. Usually bike shop juz top tap water into in which is harmful to ur carb.

Speed limit for all roads without speed limit sign is 50km/h

wa...one yr is too long normal plug is about to change every 15000km.

 

I suspect is the batt flat or maybe sparks plugs as it time for him to change.

 

Shoudnt not be fuel pump problem.

:help:

yo, better go check the engine oil level, radiator water level and most importantly.... the radiator fan is working anot... cos ur bike temp shouldn't hit "H" if the fan is working... Note: the radiator fan will start to 'ON' when the bike temp hit about slightly more than half the range of the temp gauge-the purpose is to assist in the cooling of the radiator temp, if the fan is not working, the temp of the bike will shoot up 'high' when you are travelling at a slow speed cos there isn't enough wind to blow pass the radiator for cooling....

 

always check to see whether is it the fan blades got stuck by debris or is it the fuse blow anot first... don't be 'impulsive' and just go to bike shop to change to a new fan... cos sometimes it's only minor problem...

one point to take note, temp gauge may not be accurate as our blade is rather old due to wear and tear although it 'R' model.

errm.. okay .. i went to see my friend bike again ...

this time he can start.. but after awhile .. less den 2 sec .. the bike dies off .. so i think is the spark plug up lorry..

did a push start... and the bike start.. after tat test the light... blow the bike, and the light bright up ..

so i guess the charging thingy still works.

i tot coolant is part of the system in the engine side??

the coolant got involve in carb??

i onli noe that normal tap water will encourage the rust being form on the metal part of the cooling system, converting a hard metal to a weak oxides.. then the metal break causing leaks or vanes break for water pump etc..

Wow...

 

Good good, many many advises... Will go try all it out, esp the coolant thing and the idling thing... But i sure will go back shop to do... Let them do better than i do myself... Coz my bike still under warranty, shop gif 1 month...

i think idling is too high...

 

for mine... morning start bike... idling at RPM 700-800. While on the move... it slowly increase to 1k-1.2k as it gets hotter. The most it will hit 1.5k. But 1.5k is already very bad. i cant imagine yours hit 2k. :giddy: Gotta flush your coolant, maybe its choke inside also. When i get my bike... i flush it myself... n guess wat... the coolant colour is like teh tarek!!! N lumps of slimy gelly things was flushed out.

 

Think u better get your carb wash n do the setting. engine get too hot is not a good sign n is bad.
