Two weeks is quite reasonable for the replacement time frame as they do have to drop the engine from the frame and strip it and replace the gears, they should also inspect the other gear cogs while there in case any are damaged. If they have the parts and one person who knows what they are doing working on it 100% and not doing anything else then can be done in 2-3 days maybe. If they are doing that as well as other jobs and cannot have 1 mechanic doing just that with no interruptions then 2 weeks is not too bad.

 

Unfortunately the warranty will state they have to repair it, not how long they may take, its the responsibility of the buyer to test thoroughly to make sure there are no faults. I think you should just consider it quite good that they are going to repair it and it will all be sorted out even if it takes a little time. Other places might not be so good and try to claim you caused the damage after etc and then you have to pay for a very expensive repair.

Seems like not many ppl can go on weekdays, so how about u fix it such that we leave on saturday morning and return on sun evening?

 

All you cbrians, please help to make this outing possible. Feel free to offer your suggestions. Like derek has said, it'll be awesome to take a group pic with ard 10+ bikez...

Wah.. Chiong ones even LAB also dun have.. original ones i get from FJT through LAB at 245.. i mean the disc brake.. but rear i think cheaper.. HKL quote me 130 bao install..

245 is 2 front brake disc or 1 front brake disc?

 

I got mine rear including installation at $195 last time by my regular mechanic. I know its ex but I overhaul the brake calipers, brake hose, wheel bearings, cone bearing as well. So just do together lo, save the time and trouble. $130 is quite cheap from HKL, I heard cheapest including installation is $160 so far.
