Yup, like what Jie Liang said. Mold it at First Motor at Ubi. But if it costs more than a couple of hundreds, then might as well get new fairing from M'sia. I heard got somewhere really cheap.

bro, get resin and hardener, and DIY.... easy to do....

if u not confident, practice on other plastics....

But i not confident mah... thats y better not, get professional help better....

 

But heard from Jie liang need about 200bucks...

 

So i think wait till i got the money 1st than say... thx alot for the help though guys...

 

And btw, how's everyone doing man? Esp DEREK!!! Where are you??? There are several times i tried callin u, but either can't get thru or u nv ans... What the hell man... So long nv jio me go out liao... Anyway, for ur info, i quitted my job at the nightclub liao... So now its 8.30 - 5.30 for me... can always go out at nite liao...

I am also a big fan of the K4. I mean, the later bikes definitely have more power, but I don't think I can even fully utilize an older generation superbike in the first place.

Also, I heard that in Malaysia, there is this shop selling full set of fairing for CBR400RR, including paintjob, for S$400+. I am still gathering info. No guarantee or confirmation yet. I think Amba is checking it out.

its a very easy job. Go to those DIY shop, get the Araldite (for plastics) n u can DO IT ON YOUR OWN & most importantly its cheap

 

there are instructions behind... jus read n follow will do. For stronger hold (which not reccommended cos Araldite is strong enough.) get EPOXY.

 

Btw, For best results, use some reinforcement like fibre. Cut them into small pieces n mix with the araldite ( resin + hardener ) n apply the paste in the INNER SIDE of the fairing. As for the exterior... jus spray lo. DIY or bring to spray shop also can. If the white colour crack not obvious after everything done... can hack care then hack care lo... Cheapest way, use RED marker if it isnt tat obvious

My fairing also has some cracks. Maybe I should try that also. Thanks for the tip.
