Eh? My CBR can wheel spin in the dry one meh? Don't think it has that much power lah.

Anyway M@+r!X , you just need to add a couple hundred dollars to do proper jetting and tuning. Running too rich or too lean are both bad for your engine.

When I bought my bike, it already had K&N air filter. Saved $100.

Now I remember, I saw another babyblade with GPR endcan. That bike had the carbon fiber version. I suspect that the baffle is still installed on that bike because the exhaust was not loud at all unlike mine.

Mm... what i mean is that if your tyre doesnt have a proper warm up, it will not have a better grip, thus cause a wheel spin at your back wheel.

wad colour was tt babyblade? if u saw it at the dam tt nite with a red n black hondawing paintwork n a pillion, when u were wif the zxr4 it was me coz i saw a couple of 400s juz after the u turn but nt sure hu also n dun dare to look wait look ppl tot i bio dem den challenge me wahhaa..

and sadly i wanna remove my baffle so badly but den not yet inspected my pipe as when i collected my bike inspection centres close liao so earliest i tink its wed liao unless they operate on mon or tues den i sure go :weep:

Okay, I definitely saw you, and you definitely saw me. My group (in order of parking) was a red ZXR400, a blue GSXR400, a light blue Busa and my white blade. We don't accept challenges or challenge people one. Only on track.

Wait till inspection over then take out the baffle loh. It's so lame, just a steel cone with holes. But it makes the exhaust quiet and screws up your power delivery. :giddy: I think if you don't do jetting, you really won't enjoy the benefits of the exhaust. But of course it's up to you lah. When I first got the exhaust before I sent the bike for tuning, it always wanted to die in low revs. The mixture was also very rich and caused one plug to foul up and die.

No, mine is the titanium one.

Anyway, GPR70SP is not in production anymore. What tyres are you guys switching to? I think I am going to use BT090 once I am done with my current set of GPR70SP. Is there any other tyre that has the 150/60R17 rear tyre profile?

I use BT014's 120/70 front and 160 rear. I think they do a 150 rear as well but the 160 works well and gives a little more contact patch when leaned. They grip well and warm up quickly. 090's are a very old tyre design and technology, I would definately recommend 014's over them.

If you are primarily doing track days then go for a set of super corsas with a SC1 front and SC2 rear, they also come in a 150 or 160 rear and are the closest thing to slicks in a road legal tyre.

Yeah I went to track. Sorry I didn't notice you guys, cos I was very tired and warm. Just wanted to go home, take off my suit and take a nice cold shower. Paiseh. :cheeky:

About the wheelspin, I think I nudged on the handlebar by mistake and wobbled ba... Lol... I was very tired also. That time 2am already, I was seh liao. The red ZXR is OFFICIAL's.

I don't think BT014 has 150 rear. I will check on Super Corsa. But I think for my bike, BT090 should suffice since it is inexpensive and provides enough grip to deliver the (rather limited) power of my bike to the ground.

Nope 014 is still a current tyre model.

Supercorsa comes in a 150 rear, have used them before. The 014's come with a 160 rear that fits fine on the CBR400 rear rim and gives a bit more contact patch on lean than a 150 does, works well. The 014 is the cheaper option.

i am not so sure if its a good idea for us to use 160 rear tyres.. i got comments that it affects pickup by quite abit.. and they are more costly..

i m using stock sizes on BT090.. very satisfied with the tyres cept i almost skidded once in the multi storey carpark on a rainy day..

i m not a trackie thou..
