Guys, just wondering..... Does any of you know where got sell sidebox for a CBR and roughly how much does it cost? Hehehee.... spoiling the look of a CBR liaoz but I guess, it's for convenience. Easy to put raincoat, bags etc coz my bag, 3 days already soaked in water when going to work. Sianzzz already. Can someone advice pleaseeeee...... Terima Kasih..

Engine does not die if you put to neutral before coming to a stop.

Is this correct?

 

If it is... you could be having too much slack on your clutch cable or too much play on the clutch lever. Is the slack takeup on the lever at its maximum extension? If it is, it is time to change the clutch cable, it is over stretched.

You never mentioned, so I assume your bike has a clutch cable and is not with a hydraulic clutch.

 

Nothing to do with your clutch plates or clutch springs. Worn clutch plates or weak clutch springs will cause your gears to slip only resulting in poor pickup.

 

When you clutch in, you are disengaging the engine drive from the driving gears, which is like being in neutral gear. If the clutch does not function properly due to poor adjustments, the engine will not be fully disengage from the driving gears when you clutch in... it is like slipping your clutch except in reverse of moving off. Hitting the brakes at this point in time to stop the bike will kill the engine immediately. Simply put is like trying to stop your bike whilst in gear with the clutch lever pulled in half way.

 

Nothing to do with tuning, spark plugs or water in the tank.

 

If your bike tuning is out... it is out from start to stop not just when you stopping.

 

If your spark plug is no good.. poor starting and rough running may be your problem.

 

If is water in the tank... small amounts, rough running or hard starting, if large amounts, bike won't even start at all.

* Mon 03 Jan - check for updates (loading containers, lot of help needed, confirmed times when we get it. (*to receive an alert by email or SMS, please email [email protected])

 

Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) (until 5th January 2005)

 

*Help needed with packing 9am - 6pm.

Technical help also needed in sorting medicines and first aid - it woudl be helpful to have doctor, pharmacist, medical, dental or pharmacy student on site to categorise supplies before packing. Also needed for Chinese medicines.

 

Volunteer packing supplies realised that sorting first aid and medical supplies required technical help. They were able to call on medical student friends they knew for help but more supplies may ned to be sorted out on 2nd January.

 

Golden Wall Centre, 6th Floor (opposite Tekka Mall)

 

01 Jan 2005: 5pm - a lot of help is needed to pack a 'mountain of clothes', fold and mark boxes at 6th floor, Golden Wall Centre. This is the consolidation point of mucch of the material collected in Tekka. They also need a lot of boxes and marker pens.

 

They are working up to 7.30pm on New Year's Day and will continue from 10am on Sunday 2nd January 2005. [updated 1st Jan 2005: 5pm]
