Mod Runner for 2stroker enthusiast.

I feel that this topic should be elaborated in a much clearer way. To my knowledge as far, you can only classify a Maxi-Scooter if it is a 4 stroke automatic. And 2 strokes are traditional scooters ever since. No use exaggerating, about how rare 2 strokes are. I think it will be better if the topic of the thread can be read easily instead of "Mod Runner For 2stroker enthusiast." Like maybe "The Gilera 2 Stroke Enthusiast Thread" So that people will have a better understanding of what kind of bike owners does this thread serves. hahahahaha! But anyway, no one can stop any gatherings, wether you think the whole group of bikers are one big family or not is up to you. But i think it's fair enough that this thread is open to 2 stroke riders only and there isn't any obligation or such and i guess by looking at this thread, you should be clear enough wether this thread serves any purpose to you if you are riding a 4 stroke. Right?

Besides,2 strokers are so limited that the ratio of 2stroker to a 4stroker is like 1:20, if you go riding, you'll see 4strokes more than 2 stroke. If you go to a fellow friend's wedding or party etc you'll see 4 strokes outwinning 2 strokes in terms of quantity..So i think 2 stroke is rare on the roads and if there are any 2 stroke enthusiast out there then its not wrong to have a gathering..no controversy needed no hard feelings.its just a gathering.Who knows there are ppl who are interested or inspired to get a 2stroke but dunno how to go abt and all.

Its under your mainstand area.. Most probably your batt is weak or your carbon brush is done.

hmm...so what's next? it seems that the idea of this 2stroke meet up has became a point of arguement with fellow riders clashing with words..c'mon guys..we're supposed to be one..

i don't see any harm of having a 2 stroke thread..in the end we're all still one..but the meet up of this thread is facing the friction here..anyway..i have a few suggestions..lets clash this out at jalan buruh..kehhe..juz kiddin..ok lets see wat options we have?

 

- Exclusively 2 stroke meet up..invite tru PM..(2 strokes only) (If this happens, we 2 strokes will have to shut up when the 4 strokes have a 4 strokes only meet up) khehe..

 

- 1st 2 stroke meet up..post open invite in thread(but doors open for any bikers and in subsequent meet ups, 4strokes will be invited too)

 

and pls..may all pls give their views..i think alot of people have alot in mind and alot to say but they just wanna be on the safe side and shut their mouths..there is no harm of speaking your mind..just share your point of view or share any suggestions you have..

Maxi scoot is not classified if it is a 4 stroke automatic.

 

Maxi Scooter

A maxi-scooter[15] or touring scooter[16] is a large scooter, with engines ranging in size from 250 cc (Honda CN250) up to the latest 839 cc machine (the Gilera GP 800), and using larger frames than the normal sized scooters.

 

The trend toward maxi-scooters began in 1986 when Honda introduced the CN250 Helix / Fusion / Spazio. A few years later, Suzuki launched the Burgman 650. Honda (600 cc), Piaggio, Yamaha, Aprilia, Kymco (700 cc) and others have also introduced scooters with engine displacements ranging from 400 to 850 cc. 4 strokes

Aprilia released the SR50 Ditech with direct injection in 2001. The SR50 uses one litre of fuel for 50 kilometres of driving (117mpg) and meets the Euro3 standard with a two-stroke engine. Later on, more brands, including Derbi and Peugeot, started using direct injection systems for their scooters.

 

Due to new environmental laws, scooters had to change to four-stroke engines because most two-stroke engines do not meet the Euro3 standard. This has met with opposition from many scooter riders who favor the two-stroke engine's superior power-to-weight ratio, especially in smaller size ranges.
