Thanks. But i still intend to upgrade. Becoz my quality actually now degraded ever since tat time heavy rain. suspected is some dirt on e lens but unable to reach to clean it. Wat i am looking for is weight, size and proper waterproofing.
Me too. The waterproofing method not really good. Will depend on how fast my recovery is to start working again. :cool:

If weigh is a concern, rd32ii will be a better choice if you can forgo the LCD screen. :D

Oh, didnt realise tat. Rd32ii will be a good alternative to crocolis. On screen, should be ok to forgot. E size also smaller which is a preference too. Price 134 and maybe extra 16 for more accesories. Thanks for e heads up!!

its really that much better...

esp at night...

but if you do not need the clarity of the video at night then no need to go for it...

Hi all,

i would like to share my experience on my recording of my riding trip.

in 2011, before my taiwan riding tour, i did research on a travel pack video camera to record my journey. And i got myself a Gopro HD 2 at $499 and a 32GB SD card for the capacity space.

sadly to says that Gopro battery only lasted for 2 hours and went flat, and due to the cold weather in Taiwan the housing of the gopro camera went foggy.

In April 2012, my flew off my helmet and was crush over a few cars and was completely gone, which my SD card goes together.

 

And i went search for cameras again till i found a 4 way camera which is design especially for bikes (which able to fix it in a car as well).

guys...just out of curiousity...it is not illegal to film while riding in singapore is it ? i mean if u accidently catch someone on camera while riding and later post it in youtube, can that person file a complaint against u..? in the states, it is illegal to film while riding in some counties and alll...jst chcking..

That will depend on how the person is using the camera. There is no strict law I know of yet but if one is to be holding a camera while riding its practically just like using the phone while driving without the hands free kit. Its still a grey area. If its a hands free operating camera I do not think it will distract the rider unless the rider keep focusing on the screen of the cam too much to the point of losing concentration on riding safely. That is just my opinion. To agree or not its up to individual. :cool:

I doubt so. If it is illegal then in-car DVR will be too.

I guess it all depends on what was the content in that video. If the video shows that the person broke the rules/laws, i doubt he will bother to file a complaint unless he wants the matter to escalate. :angel:

Good to have 4 cameras but the quality doesnt not justify the pricing..
