hmm, from wat i know there are onli 2 mech.. the one wif spec can cut prices, while the other one cannot cut prices... so means they open up a brand new bottle ah... mayb thats y ba... mine is mix wif distil water if i not wrong

i got difficulty shifting my gear to neutral when my engine heated up... specially waiting at traffic light..

gear shifting also seems quite difficult, need to kick harder..

 

is this problem due to my clutch plate?

yup.. he gave me 2 choice... i cant remember the price of the one they mixed liao... i insisted on the "premix" ready to use bottle... finished one whole bottle and he topped up abit more...

Adjust your clutch cable.

Adjust to the point that when you clutch-in, it should be slightly harder.

If after few days the problem still persists and also has reached its maximum adjustment , you know it's time to change the clutch cable

can try to check the rubber seal on the shaft that joins to ur gear shifter. u have to open the front sprocket cover.

When was the last time you changed your clutch cable? Or how long has the clutch cable been used?

Insufficient clutch lever free play, worn clutch plate or weak springs are the most common problems.

clutch cable never change b4 after i bought second hand since apr 2002.... btw, i think i changed my clutch fiction plate at K&T(second-hand one) around 2005....

 

sometime can engage smoothly, and sometime i give out kicking to neutral and just turn off my engine(kick till my foot tired while searching for neutral)....

Wear and tear is evitable...

For your situation, try the cheapest way first - adjust clutch cable.

If adjusting the clutch cable still doesn't rectify the problem, just change a new clutch cable. It should cost around $20+-. Anyway, your clutch cable has served its due... Riding with a 5 year old clutch cable seems scary and I believe the clutching isn't that smooth...

yupz.. changing clutch cable may be a alternative.. but with prolong usage of a defective clutch cable, your clutch frictional plates may be damaged..

 

changing of clutch plates w gasket may cost ard $140.. you may wish to check on that too..

 

normally the mechanics will say if you are at high RPM with the bike roaring and bike still in low speed, it may due to your clutch plates being "botak"

NGk spark plug at 55 costs way too high!

 

i fixed mine sparkplug cable at rm 24

 

unlesss it is different.. i would say it is a ripoff
