That definitely works, the pressure applied by the feet gives more stability and confidence when manoeuvering through the corner. Appreciate your comments :)

Oh, U've got a monster too.. I've got a S4. Its strange, when i ride my Monster, i prefer to leave my foot on the pegs, at toes on my rear brake and gear lever, feel more comfy when its street riding, even for a super 4 for scrapping my toes which i love doing actually. haha. becuz street riding isn't that fast and my posture would be griping the fuel tank at all times. And that's y i place my toes on the brakes and gear shift lever.

Huh? Who rides a Duc without changing the steering rake angle? I thought riding the Duc without changing the angle is more adventurous?

Corse, adjust the angle, it's fun.....just be careful when you U turn. It feels weird, but you will get used to it. My regret is not meeting you at the tracks before I leave SG.

bro i ask you how much you wanna sell for OEM .... ebay selling 12 USD each side to 120USD for a pair. Price varies. I do not want to go trouble waiting thats why i keep asking you many times how much you wanna sell but u ask me to quote...... if its too low say so ... dont disappear and make me wait .....

Stop comparing with Ah boy or so ....when i ask for a stufff im well aware of what i buy....

aware of Ducati Pricing .... i am not a P plate in this arena

well said TeePee, although i dun post as much as you do dun treat me like a fool as well. to begin with the pegs were not posted for sale. u sms n ask if it was for sale, tts y i ask u to quote n if it sounds reasonable i will let it go. tt said if u r aware of how much its worth in Ebay as well as i do, then dun try to treat me like a fool. i didn't bother replying ur sms cos when i ask u sincerely to give a reasonable quote, u said $50. tts very insulting for a duc rider to another duc rider n u r simply wasting my time. think hard, do u really think i'm hard up for $50??? i rather jus give it to a fren in need of it when the time comes. so if me or others dun reply ur sms in future, think long and hard if u had anything to do with it. Again i emphasize, we r dealing with Ducati riders here, n i always consider this bunch of ppl mature, sensible and sincere bunch. so if u really feel tt u r not a P plate in this arena, then start acting like one.

Oh Tiuster, you never got my email on the "Deathwish"?

I guess I need to learn how to do top end servicing if I wanna own that bike.

bro, top end servicing for 2-stroke is pretty straight forward, jus get the manual. if im not a train mech n i can do it. u r definately way up to it compared to me. anyway, u r right its a dream machine.........jus dun kill urslelf on it. think 'HIGHSIDE'. i think u shld jus get tt, atleast experience the true raw valve power of a 500cc 2-stroke, especially when its wide open screaming, u r holding on tight as ur life depends on it n feel every tingling vibration in ur bones as the power transient to ur body.

Hey Corse > Really glad to see you using the 999 properly. :D

If you are adventurous, try changing the steering head angle. Transforms the handling of the bike.

Oh wow, you got your footpegs at 11pounds..... because no one else bidded higher. Congrads!

BUT THAT DOES NOT DETERMINE MARKET PRICE.

Maybe no one takes you seriously because all you do is talk air online. I suggest you take your MV Agusta or whatever you have, go down to the track and prove yourself instead of typing away pretending you know everything.

Cant make it on that date. Marcus has been asking me too, but i'm working. I'm planing to head down on the 17th Nov, Sat. Recently Marcus bike's gear was stuck at 1st gear and cant move. Hopefully its ok by now.

For me, fastest timing was 1-56.38 on the recent track day. Go check out the pics at 'On The Track'. I'm still far far away from u man! :faint:

BTW, there has been a black 999 spotted at jalan kayu a few times. Didn't see it but my frens keep telling me abt it.

Someone mention it could be a malay guy... Anyone knows who?

It's not to learn, it's all about sharing. i am just someone who is familiar with PG thats all, cos i have been tracking there for years. And it took me 5 bloody years to reach the timing of 1 min 53 that you have easily clock after u got ur Duke after months. But i got to admit the fact that my Duke brought me further than that in compared to any Jap bikes i had before. I was stuck at the margine of 2 minutes for 3 long years until my 749 came by. Dukes are so stable in the corners especially at low lean angle, and the power delivery are so much more expectable. If Charn can clock 1min 43 on my bike, with less than 5 laps of practise, i dun see there is any problem with the bike. The problem lies in me. But one got to be honest is that, we really got to exit a bend hard enough so that the in-line 4 dun blast pass us on the straights. Throttle control was made easier to handle due to the V-twin configuration, but it also made the whole situation more dangerous.

Race against urself first and not others. The process will make one more familiar with the bike. Just drill this in mind: U are no longer riding a in-line4. Ride a v-twin like how it is suppose to be. Take a step at a time. If u have the right attitude on the track , i bet u will improve in no time.

If the situation comes and u notice that u have been stuck at a certain particular timing, maybe it is time to take note of the following.

1) Is there anything wrong with ur teachnique?

2)Are the suspension setup properly to ur favour and riding teachnique? ( i rectify mine and earn 2-3 secs. I didn't even pay a single cent on this.)

3)Gear ratio...( This is the most common problem. I rectify mine, and i earn another 3 whole secs. It cost me less $90)

4) Throttle control...

5) Lines.....

6) Braking teahnique and braking points....

As u can see, i shave off 5 secs easily, by paying close attention to points number 2 and 3.

For me now, i think i have reached my limit, i have been trying ways to improve but to no avail... Maybe, this is how far my balls can carry me. Or in another words " I am Scared " to be honest. Haizzzz.....

It has been a long time since the Dukes had a gathering at PG liaoz..
