The rest of the OEM clutch items is good enough already?

How about the clutch master pump, clutch drum etc?

Thanks!

Guys, i got another problem with my 916.

When ever i turn the key to switch on the ignition, normally the instrument panel will light up and the fuel pump sound will be heard, right?

But mine recently didn't. Turn the key, panel did not light up and fuel pump sound not heard.

Why?

Something similar to the S4RS? How about another S4RS? :D

There is a wide selection of engine and suspension configurations in the monster family. Or if you want more attitude, can consider the Hypermotard.

Thanks. I'm looking to purchase an S4RS or any other Monster in the 1000 to 1100S series. Where should I look other than to contact Mary at Minerva? Which model Ducati do you own...and could others share their views on what to look out for when buying second hand Ducati's such as to avoid certain year model or makes.

Dude, You cannot go wrong buying a new duke. breaking in her virginity is unrivalled. As for the S4Rs, all i can say is go for it. No regrets i promise (: u will get the same comfort as the Vrod and power will never be an issue. its not as outstanding as a Vrod but definitely in a league of its own and with termis, u'll be a happy man beneath that tinted visor.

just wondering, what is the average fuel consumption of the 916?

I was a bit surprise when I hit 260km and need to pump 13+ litres only. My previous K1 was a drinker....

Nope, not until Ducati releases a 300km/h hypersport bike. But I don't see that happening at all, unless they happen to bolt two 848 engines together into a 1.7litre V4 engine... :D

I know it doesn't have an issue hitting 300, so does any of the other japanese litre bikes.

But not one of these sportbikes can cruise at 200, with pillion, and hard lugguage, and return 16km/litre, in comfort (For both rider and pillion).

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed touring on my 999, but that was alone, and with ridiculously minimal lugguage in a tailpack as I don't like to carry backpacks.

Any advise on where to service front forks?

I can feel that the damping on my showa fronts are getting from bad to worse. Worse still is that the 916 has lousy rear brake....

Hope to get some sound advise on where to service the front forks and the cost of it.

Cheers

Eric
