FORMER 500CC Grand Prix star Randy Mamola was left a little red-faced recently after he was involved in a racetrack incident while riding Michael Schumacher's £25,000 Ducati 1098R.

 

The accident came during a track at the Circuit of Catalunya outside of Barcelona on Easter weekend, where Randy was helping the former F1 God with bike-setup tips. Sources say, Mamola was in the right hand stadium section near the end of the lap when a slower rider moved across the track and collided with him. Schumacher was not far back and told Mamola, “I saw that coming.”

 

Schumacher went on to say: “Don't worry about it. These things happen.”

 

Ah well, I suppose if you're that rich...

Guys, i got another problem with my 916.

When ever i turn the key to switch on the ignition, normally the instrument panel will light up and the fuel pump sound will be heard, right?

But mine recently didn't. Turn the key, panel did not light up and fuel pump sound not heard.

Why?

Yup, I'm the one who bought your 999~! Its being very fully utilized by the guy with nick Corse now.

 

I'm riding a ZZR1400 now, and yea, inline4s are boring! Powerful, but boring!

A battery with no more juice. Use a voltmeter and check how much voltage your battery holds. Should be more than 12V if battery is good.

 

How often you ride your bike? IF you do not ride the 916 at least once a week, you should disconnect the battery, else it is common it will go flat easily.

Anyway i have already laid up my 916.

Will go and have it repaired once my season parking is over.

Just wondering if anyone has 'run dry' on their Monster (S4 or 900)and find out what is the fuel tank capacity.

I read that it is 14 lit but on the owner's manual it is stated 15 lit.
