the price was $500 for a full set of front (2 pair)! I can get the Brembo race for $140 (pair) so this is good enough.

$500 is just stupid....

Cheers

Yep, I want to do the right thing support the right people etc, but with prices like this it's impossible...

It doesn't matter what the question is, the answer is more power!

Yoo guys, need some help here. Anyone knows where to get carbon fiber parts/accessories for the 1098? I know the new news will cost a bomb and I am looking at 2nd hand ones.

I used EBC pads last time it was ok. Shouldnt be a problem. I won't pay for brake pads double the price personally.

Hey, well the Ducati Race pads are good! I had problems telling the difference between the the normal and the race (apparently the price is similar but wear is much shorter) but certainly no problems under brakes, always solid! was stringing together several quick laps (1:48) chasing some quick guys, felt great, alot of fun!

not sure if the Metzlers will last too much longer????

Ebay is the best place, if you're looking for a few bits, get a VPost account, most of the stuff is in the US?

There are a couple of cheap guys for new stuff. try "carbondude" out of aussie, there's also a guy in HKG mcmotoparts that I've ordered a couple of things from, should be here next week...

Lucky i'm light. Good way to save the wearing of the tyres. I had my gf on the back of my bike at high speeds, and the additional weight results in so much more wear!

To all owners, I am parting with my Monster and have a used but still very new STM Evoluzione Slipper Clutch (FDU-S190) sitting in the storeroom. It comes with a STM 48T basket, 48T clutch plates and of course the slipper clutch itself.

It'll fit all dry clutch ducatis. For 1098/1198 a special nut needs to be ordered seperately. Installation can be arranged.

Brand new at Sporting Motorcycles was $2000, so make me an offer or arrange to view the items.

Awesome addition to your dry clutch Ducati! too bad I have gone to a wet clutch instead. =P
