The last time I gathered Ducati riders, exactly ONE Ducati turned up, which wasn't me. Heh.

 

I believe there is a Ducati club monthly ride, every 1st Sunday morning of the month.

ducati owner's club do it more than once a month , if occasion permits,its called S.L.R(sunday lunch ride)me a sleeping member!

Hello all,

 

I'm very happy to annouce that as of today, i'm now a owner of Ducati 749 Dark... Bought the bike over from a collegue (mileage 3000km) and will be using it over the weekends and late night supper. Still trying to get use to riding as I was off riding bikes for almost 5yrs. I find that the 749 is not as easy to "flick" into the coners as compared to my last bike, the GSXR750, and further back RS250, RS125. Or maybe its just me being too long off riding.

 

Thought of going down PG sometime as i did with my previous bike and current car, but i guess that will really have till wait i'm get "in touch" with the bike. In fact, I saw some Ducati riders when i went PG on 12 Dec. I think u guys did the 1030 to 1130/1230 session. My friends and I were driving in when u guys were on the way out at the security gate.

 

BTW i noticed the clutch is very heavy as compared to my previous bikes, and thats really no fun in stop/start traffic. And then the Ducati really heats up and stays very hot, and that can get very uncomfortable at the groin area.

 

Hope u guys can give me more pointers to riding n maintaining the Ducati.

guess I am not gonna make it today,its raining and my fren who is staying at bukit timah just showed me his video yesterday how bad it was with flood over along bukit timah area, especially sixth ave. this perpetual rain is not ending at least for this month.

 

suggest we re schedule.

Yeap... always have the urge for a ride... wonder when would i get used to it since i quite infrequently... hope to meet fellow ducati riders sometime ;P

Nice meeting up with you and catching up on old times... was so caught up talking that I forgot to take a pic.

 

Anyway... am planning to go to PG this coming thursday. Anyone Interested is free to join us. It's not a "Ducati track-day" or anywhere close. Just few biker friends reminiscing the good old days.

No sparring this time as I'm on a pair of 1 year old diablo supercorsa, last minute decision so dun have time to get new tires... so it'll be a leisure ride instead of setting best laps.

 

I'll give you a ring once i'm back in SG (about 8~9 pm sg time wednesday)
