Your battery is probably totally messed up by this stage. Deep discharge like what happened to yours will totally kill it . If you're in the market for a high performance battery you can try Shorai batteries. There is a Singapore dealer for them

You can get them at Ah boy for $20, but pretty shitty china made ones. I got one from them, and I got another one from a pretty decent car workshop, one of the "made in USA" ones, both serve the same purpose, but the USA made one shows cool **** like voltage, amps, etc on the gauges, and you know how men are "visual creatures"!

If you bring the battery over I don't mind helping give a 2 hour charge. I live in Bt Timah.

There's a test I do to see if the battery is still serviceable, you'll require a voltmeter as well as a trickle charger.

1. Take battery out of car/bike/boat/etc.

2. Check voltage (AND REMEMBER IT)

3. Charge battery (about 2 hrs on HIGH, or overnight on LOW)

4. Measure voltage again (should be in ball park of 11.5 - 13v)

5. Wait an hour and measure again, if voltage drops significantly ( Below 10.5v, your battery is f***ed and you might as well get a new one )

Step 5 is the part that shows whether there's still life left in your battery, if it can still retain a charge it is still good, if it drops like the price of gold, time to get a new one. $80 for a Yuasa.

Hmm. I tried the jump start with the car. Connected, able to see lights but couldn't start. And so I bought a new battery. Fixed everything but no light no nothing . Any idea why?

1. Check all relays, and fuses. It is not uncommon to blow fuses while reconnecting a new battery.

2. Check you got the polarities right, red to "+" and so on.

If all fails, you may have already fried something by trying to jump it with a car. One thing I learnt about the Italians, they have been building bikes for 3/4 of a century and they still have not gotten the electrical bits right. I think they do it on purpose to make money off the after-sales support.

K.....Nice race fairing you have got there.....were you at the last track day??

Sleepaway.....from your postings, it seems like you are not a techie. Suggestion is that you get it tow to MM or reputable bike shop that is able to change your battery without doing further damage to the bike.

In addition, do consider adding trickle charger to the battery so you can easily connect without fairing removal.

hi anyone here replace any missing fairing bolts from Minerva before?

I lost one on my 848. Can't find it thou. might be somewhere along PIE.

My bike since thursday until now no news, i already been 1month bikeless -.-

Getting Error code 37.2 can't solve it by my bike shop thats why have to tow to MM in the end.

To the ducati rider number plate FBH 1030R heading towards pie changi airport about 3.45pm , Just a kind reminder you're riding a new bike ever thought of the consequences if you bang into my motorcycle with the way you cut across to overtake me ?

If you feel you have the skill to ride the way you're riding just now why don't you buy a racing suit and head up north to the track to test out your skill ?

:)
