braking for our sprints are pretty tricky....guess i am too used to big bikes brakes liao...need to get the hang of braking sprinty again....

for braking, we need a further braking distance...hence it is always good to ride safely, brake in advance....

like what aziz say..."Power is NOTHING, Without CONTROL"....

oooh nahhh i don't dare try stunts. i don't want to end up with more scars. men get away with scars, women don't.

also on the silly stunt i mentioned...dont try it...not worth if you fall...

moreover...scars and women = no no....

However, i used to purposely ebrake - step hard on your rear brake (not on mainroad though)....

your scoots will drift one side (cos one side is heavier than the other bcos of the placing of the engine)...like drifting....but rear tyres wear out pretty fast....

DONT TRY...it is just the silly habit of mine...

Gweeter...I share the same sentiments.

Just the other day, I was sharing some riding tips with a couple of scooter riders(fluffpuff included) about how to react in an emergency situation like E-Braking etc.

Tii today, I too, e-brake and practise other riding skills in a 'controlled' (when no other vehicles around) environment.

My tyres wear out just as quick but its worth it...better the rubber then my skin..Haha!

It will not only sharpen our skills but also help keep us alert.

Keep on improving and practising...Always!

Accidents will always occur, but we can help minimise it if we all rode responsibly.

Cheers

Aziz

SK_I - actually i think it should fit :cheeky: but even if it doesn't, i don't mind adding it to my mini collection of vespa items haha. arhhh i like it so much!!

gweester, here's the pic:

there's another white vespa mirror (round) i saw around online before but that's even more rare and i'm too lazy to go search for pics. basically, as long as it's white and not too expensive, i'm grabbing it! the only white mirror i saw in stores in singapore is this very rectangular-shaped one which shape is a bit too harsh for my liking. i like mirror shapes for vespas that are more curved and rounded like oyster-shaped ones and of cos, round mirrors.

SK_I - i thought of spraying my mirror white before but ah joo said the paint wouldn't last and would look darn ugly once it starts being scratched off and all. i have to agree
