Hi guys,

Can anyone give some advice on my problem?

Recently, I have noticed a high fuel consumtion on my vespa. Normally it can run 150km for about 5 litres of petrol. Now it can only run less then 100km. Moreover, the vespa seems to lost power for a few seconds when I re-open my throttle while travelling at 70-80km/h. The sound of the exhaust is like puffing more air then usual and I had to open more throttle at times to counter the problem.

Some have recommend that I could see if the connection between the spark plug or cable is loose.... I have yet to try it.

Any idea what need to be replace or I could do some simple maintance to solve the problem?

Worried.

I can't really help... you've gotta wait for one of the more experienced guys to be around... check back tomorrow or in the wee hours of tomorrow morning....

hiz WaspRider,

check your exhaust for any cracks or puncture or loose...

if it is, tighten if loose.

cracks/puncture bring to shop for welding or just change a new pipe.

you probably went too hard over a hump, hitting the exhaust

=)

just pray its not something worse
