hornet GLIDE is just hornet with graphics ?

but hornet and hornet DS is much different..

what i've notice:

1. peak is not removeable for hornet becoz of top screw..but hornet DS, top screw can remove.

2. top vent is different..

hornet..

and my shoei hornet has vibrating sound (either from visor or peak)

have to tilt the head for better air flow to eliminate the noise..

some oversea forums complain about vibrating noise as well...

vibrating sound could be due to my tall windshield, creating airflow direct to peak..

but i am not the only one complain about vib noise..

em, i cant remove mine (old hornet) may be i dont know :D

it dont have the flap on top of helmet.. unlike DS and top screw does not have thread to unscrew..

this is hornet DS..

Is ur one same model as mine?

It has one plastic screw on top,

overall its a gd, comfy & wind resistance noise is suprisingly lower compared to nolan & soumy flip up ff

since i am selling my helmet and ppl are asking about vibrating issue..

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=293968

it was caused by my bike's tall windshield creating buffering..

i've changed my windshield to shorter one with direct air flow and vibrating issue has been cured.

Can any bros out there let me know if ure using x-12? Thanks in adv. I'm planning to get a x-9. I'm riding a specIII.

I went to Regina the other day to check out the pricing for x-9.

For the plain ones if I nv rmb wrongly they r selling at 370 and the ones with designs are selling at 550.

the x-12 was designed for racing..

therefore with regards to ur qn, it is adapted for a low bent over/crouching posture.
