Its always good to have safety in mind..I got fren who is so budget tat he didn't want to change the rear light n wears a dark jacket most of the time..By saving these few dollars will cost him to lost even more.

so wad abt gears like jacket wif shoulder blade n elbow guard ?

I heard the taichi drymaster is not only a rain jacket but also comes wif elbow guard n shoulder blade.. Correct me if i'm wrong.. Cheers =)

A full face is called such because after you hit the road with your face you still have a, eh ... full face. :)

I believe the Hurt Report states that 20% of facial injuries happens to the chin area. Darn ... imagine the damage that the lid is taking for ya.

Cheers

X-11 Replica is so ex nowadays??

I'm using a X-11 Ukawa as a daily work helmet and a X-11 Kagayama for up north or track helmet..Worth every penny spend(Nt for the 1k price tag thou)..Put a open face helmet on and i feel so naked while riding..

Regina's stock for X-11 Rep probably nt much now cos they are more into the AGV market since they hold the distribution rights locally..

whats the difference between shoei ff x-9 and x-11?

seem like x-11 is more popular, why ah? and x-9 is cheaper right?

the main difference is in the air vent intake design. the x-9 vents are lower down while the x-11 vents are higher up. this difference allows for different riding positions: x-9 with lower vents allows for more upright riding position, x-11 with higher vents allows for a more leaned over riding position.

no problem. i did a long search and found out after checking the helmets out. by the way, chong aik did not have the kagayama 2 when i went there 2 months ago. so some of the models you want for x-11 may not be available. best to call before heading down if that's where you intend to buy from.

if that's the case.. x-9 is more suited for me! how much is it for the plain ones?

sorry but i cannot remember as it was a couple months ago since i enquired. but it sure is cheaper than the graphic ones :-) why not call them up or pay them a visit? look for Eric. this guy helped me out when i got my hornet ds and was very helpful. but you know, i'm not the bargaining sort, so the prices you get will probably be better than what i'd get :-)

you should have ask prices first before commiting..

i went to look at the prices yesterday.. i was shock to see the price tags at $1080!!!!

even old models like Kato's..

Good thing i went for Arai.. they bring in replacement parts and cushions more than Shoei..

Z6 looks good on the website...think it is a definitely option for a sportsbike type of riding position. Will probably go take a look in the next few weeks. I would pass on the X-9 for now as I do not have a bike that dictates an upright riding position suitable for this helmet. I already have a Hornet DS for my TW200. But I think the X-9 is a great helmet if you have a streetbike that dictates an upright riding position.
