950 is slightly above 20k last i checked a mth back

1300 is actually cheaper but last i check i picked up e last piece, ha

but anw, 18k for a 750 is really quite steep

Hey hey...Personally, I think if you are willing to spend 18K, might as well throw in a few more Ks' and get the Yamaha MidnightStar 950 considering that it is a belt drive (cost effective maintenance), lowered seating position, with a slightly rake out fork positioning and it comes with the new Yamaha EXUP system...

But again, for all Shadow lovers, yes, the 750 is an ideal choice but looking at the model outlook, it hasn't been given much change compared to the older versions of the VT750...Cheers and good luck to all riders who are shopping around for their dream metric cruiser bike....

I wonder if the seats of the Spirit & Aero are interchangeble.

Coz I prefer the spirit but as I pillion my wife daily, the comfy pillion seat of the aero model will be good.

Can try, but the Spirit carries about 500ml more fuel than the Aero. Not sure if can fit due to tank design

In this case is that the reason why the new 09 Super 4 at Boon Siew cost 16k machine price & Yamaha V Star 950 machine price at $20k ?

The new Shadow 750 & Deuville 700 also machine price at about $20k.

My friend told me that for S4, after adding in LTA TAxes, Insurance etc, OTR S4 will be like 20k.

so its not a case of the auth dealers trying to profiteer in this case?
