not much different in the engine and frame...but the header is similar to his big brother FZ1. the 4pins brake is back and the swingarm look better if making a chain adjustment i guess.

Looks good, glad Yamaha listened to its customers and addressed the 2 major problems with the old model, i.e. Brakes and Mid-range! :smile:

Even the smallest spark can start a massive forest fire...

:sweat: ya loh selling it to my friend. then tranfer the goodies like PCIII, tank bra,exhaust ect.... to the new bike...:confused: just kiding.... unles it change it engine to 800cc than i might thinking of changing.

go HL n ask them to change the speedometer loh n the header :cheeky: and yours will look like the new fz6...

:cheeky: too much things to change liow like the swingarm, front header, front fork and break calipers ect ...:smile: Anyway there will be more fazer6 rider as it will be the hottest bike in town again for sure..

Rode a 07 Fz6 recently.

 

Pity I thought it doesnt ride as good as it looks. Feels like its powered by a sewing machine..still I guess its a practical bike.

 

Other than the engine it went pretty sweet.

don't be surprise. it was given an overall 2 stars out of 5. this bike was compared to honda hornet600, suzuki gsr600, suzuki sv650s and kawasaki Z750 by UK's leading magazine 'bike magazine' and got degraded. and rated poor. i think it has something got to do with the power hp's and petrol consumption.
