Two speedboats carrying Thai and Western tourists have collided in the Gulf of Thailand injuring at least 33 people, and two are thought to be missing, hospital staff and media said Sunday.

 

The accident happened late Saturday night as the boats were ferrying people to and from a full moon party on a beach on Koh Phangan, a monthly event on the island that is popular with thousands of Western backpackers.

 

Two hospitals on the nearby resort island of Koh Samui told AFP they had treated 33 tourists between them, with nine still in their care including five Australians, two Britons, one Singaporean and one Irish holidaymaker.

 

The Nation newspaper website said two people were missing and 39 were injured, two of them in a serious condition with head injuries, after the crash threw them into the sea.

 

At least seven Australians were injured in the accident, according to an Australian foreign ministry spokesman.

 

"The Australian embassy in Bangkok is working with Thai authorities to determine whether there are any other Australians involved," he told AFP.

The best way is just to push your bike. But then you have to think of how to reduce the heat from you feet....

big cc bikes like dat ar bro ... at least our 600 still tak not bad.

 

if u had tried those 1000 or 1,300cc ... u feel as though ur balls kena fried!

Please don't change coolant if your bike is brand new. Give it at least 6mths or 5k KM to let the coolant hoses settle in.

 

My $0.02 - I've used all three and found Maxima better.

 

Most all new big bikes run hot. Just need to get used to it.

actually hoses do not really need to settle in........ in my opinion, as long as your bike purchase is brand new & the manufacturing date does not exceed 8 mths, then the coolant is gd for use, dont waste money lah......and just change to the alternate coolant as per manufacturer advise, roughly bout after 6 - 12 mths.

just my $ 0.20 opinion but from personal experience..yes they do. Changed coolant rite out of the shop, hose would not seal around onto radiator no matter how hard the clamp was on. Later found out there was a short 'break in' period for hoses.

but baik mcm maner pun, the key thing is preventive maintenance

kalo mcm gitu...... how bout those who intend to change (due to wear n tear)or upgrade the hoses??? nak kena cari coolant lama ke??? or save the coolant n re-use them???
