Hi, since yesterday - after only a quick food stop, my Phantom won't start. Battery is ok as all other electric like lights, horn etc are working. All I hear is a loud click but nothing happens. All wires and fuses are checked.

 

I am not a mechanic wizz so any help is much appreciated.

go to a bikeshop, ask to replace starter carbon. app $50 +/-5(at ahkoon).

eh, i think you are talking about a different seal here. we are refering to the soft rubber seal around the speedometer, and it comes in 1 piece.

the 2 piece seal you are talking about is the one on each side of the chrome tank piece right?

Hi guys, new rider here. currently still "phantom-hunting" and looking for a suitable bike to pass thru before going Class 2A.

Can someone advise please?

 

My signal switch 85% working normally, sometimes, like for this past week, if want to signal left, must pull the knob like only half of the full allowance, but to signal right must push the knob fully. Any ideas what is wrong?

 

Other times it works fine, like if i want to signal left, pull slightly or all the way still will light. Only occasionally this problem will occur, making it slightly hard to explain to my mech.

bro bro BRO! this is a common issue we all receive after so many days of rain. Under speedometer rubber expand due to rain and that signal switch..

i encounter this problem too. i take 4WD and spray into the controls. after awhile, it's working fine again.. Maybe i bring my oil to school la on thurs. then spray for you?

and josh, its wd40... not 4wd!

Friends i wanna change the handlebars on my ride but i don't know what is the compatible thickness.would a one inch bar fit my phantom?pls enlighten me.

phantom cruise controls are of 7/8" (7/8inch)

yes you can change the risers... but as devil.L mentioned, you would have to change all your controls as well! (meaning your brake lever mount, engine kill switch, throttle, clutch lever mount, turn signal switches housing, etc would all have to be changed)
