dude i chged my fairings to tzm long time ago. not worth itit will costs u ard 600-900rm to chg to tzm fairings. i just chged the head and side fairings.

In total, ur tzr will be costing as the same as a tzm. i say buy tzm..

 

Tzr is a reliable bike no doubt. but if want to mod, just get tzm bro.. my 2 cents. And btw, this subject abt modification to tzm is in this thread... you have to search thru though. Enjoy!! :sweat:

yoz...my friend still riding a tzr and until now he maintain it and there's no problem with it! anyway hi guys...i'm back for action with my vespa and cbr4 lolx...take care all~

Waaah same price as TZM?? Really?? as in maintainence?? i tot tzr will cost me max 1k o.t.r?? plus fairings 900rm which is ard s$400?? add it all up is ard 1400 w/o doin the engine, brake, chains ,tyres etc etc. Me dun wanna mod till crazee.. just wanna chg it to tzm fairings n just maintain it. So wad say u pros??:confused:

Wont cost as much as TZM lah... u're talking abt S$4k leh... :mad:

 

But in a way he is right... unless u have really good lobang for the mods, there's no point modding it, not worth the money spent, u might as well consider getting an SP or KRR instead of getting a TZR n spend lots n lots of money to mod it...

 

No matter how much u mod it, an old bike is still an old bike, and it doesnt mean the price would be higher when u wanna sell it in the future :smile:

i outside can earn few k per month

inside only 350 haha

Yo bros, just got my TZR today. Must say it's a bit ex for an old bike but mech has done a great job overhauling and cleaning up the parts inside out. Will post pics of my bike soon. :cheer:

 

p.s Got it for SG$1.6k~~ Engine overhaul + Paintwork + Transfer Fees + Insurance + New parts like headlights etc + Pirelli tyres

Mayb it would look nicer if the rear was higher and the front fork lowered...hee...

yeah jack up the seat...add a blue neon light and change block to 150cc tzm piston with porting....spocket smaller abit to 38teeths den add a mushroom head open pod knn filter...den change fuel jet or carburetor to a bigger one...can fly liao

yeah gonna do that...everytime go over hump my suspension bump into the swingarm. Also going to chop off the rear mudguard, change front mudguard, change clutch cable, front brake pad and mirror. Don't think will be doing any engine mods yet coz the engine just got overhauled so I don't want the engine to give me more headaches later.

Hmmm....been having my bike for 2 weeks now...I noticed that the engine gets very hot quickly. I checked the coolant level and it looks fine. Anyone knows why it gets hot?(the engine temp hits red!)

Mine had this prob too,but it wasnt due to rusty radiator cap, it was due to leakage of my 2T (or 4T,cant rem liao),& the 2T flowed to the coolen, causing it to jam.Temp sure rise quickly...better check it soon,I wasnt so lucky,my coolen burst when I m on my wat fr AMK to Wdlands,stuck in the middle of SLE! :help:

The coolant pipe on my bike burst b4... splashing the coolant all over the engine, causing lots of white smoke (as if the bike is gonna explode), then the temp reader just shoot to the max... quickly parked, went to buy silicon sealant, good enuf to survive for 1 day n 1 nite b4 changing the pipe... :giddy:

But where did ur coolant pipe burst?On normal road or expressway?Anyway,ur coolant liquid shld hav all dissapear...u jux used water for the coolant?

I was on Orchard Rd thankfully, so I just went straight to the somerset carpark... the leak was abt 3mm wide, so it was spraying like water-gun...

 

But the scene was just not amusing at all... the engine was smoky like mad... :giddy: Then I bought one big bottle of mineral water, slowly rode home, stopped once in a while to top up the coolant w plain water... cos it was still dripping even after I put the silicon sealant..
