TT900 i ask in msia biggest size only got 80/90-18

Do you mean TT900GP made in Japan?

Only fitting tyre size i know of is TT100 which im using now, total crap. And DURO 110/80 which is slighty less crap but still crap. Very disappointing.

What tyre are you using and where can i get those that you mentioned?

And what kind of mods do you do to the stock exhaust? Shorten the expansion chamber for more revs? Reduce stinger diameter? Remove baffles/stopper/silencer?

Thanks for your replies.

Is TT100 really good? I have a tt100 that is like 6years old on one of my bikes and its like total flintstone no grip, maybe because it's really old. But tt100 doesnt look like it's meant to grip to me.. Lol.. How much is Bt45?

I just bot a set of forks, caliper, kickstart and pv servo for $100 at jurong scrapyard. Worth it?

I just fitted the calipers and it's different. Seems that the one i bought is bigger and belongs to a later model. It has a removable black cover at the top which my old one doesnt.

More powerful too..

hey guys, wondering if there are still good conditioned or new block and pistons for TZR? block same like tzm or not?

2B ☑ 2A ☑ 2 ☑ 3 ☑ 4 ☑ 5 â˜

Posted

its not a direct fit...

gotto mod many other things(eg conrod, bearings etc etc) to fit in the tzm block...

be prepare to spend much $ to get it in...

if ur interested in a tzr block,i have spare...

size 0.75 without piston, still can bored a few more times...

give me a gd quote through PM,n pls no low balling...

Mininum i think need to bore out crankcases if the sleeve is bigger. If wristpin size is the same shouldnt need other modification maybe except deck spacer.

if u intends to change to a tzm block, seems ur those who dont care about the rules n regulation...then might as well throw in the whole tzm engine...it will be more easier, instant 150 cc...gear ratio everything oso diff liao...

Moviestar this time i need ur help. If you have ridden other 2b sportsbike before, eg sp, kr, tzm or anything. How does tzr125 low rpm power(1-5k RPM) compare to them?

Because i feel that the power during this range on my bike is seriously very weak. Slower than my rxk even by alot.. I've checked my powervalve and it as turning alright. I recalibrated it according to the haynes manual and it still feels the same?

Help pls, Thanks in advance!

tZr is a higher reving bike compared to Sp/tZm/KR...i mean the low end u gotto rev more, but when reach 7k rpm,the bike will roar..another way is to play with ur spockets...check out the sizes..change the rear to bigger sizes...i think(not confirm)the biggest is 46....front 15 will do great pick up..these should be the standard sizes,i think so,abit forget about such things liao..lol...another way is to change ur carburettor...actually quite alot of things to think of wan, slowly explore ba,then u will know more about ur bike...

i may have spare Keihin Carb for sale oso, gotto search around again..haha

wah,u even have the manual ah,how did u find that...???

I got the soft copy online. Anyways i refered to it and turns out that my carb needle clip is in the wrong position. Supposed to be 4th from the top as opposed to 3rd(middle) slot which most bikes stock setting.

Ok thanks for you help. But i managed to find out the problem. There's a hole at the bottom of my left crankcase, causing low crankcase pressure, lean mixture, overheating, lack of power and high consumption.

I clean the area with alcohol and patched it with epoxy putty. Solved all problems. Bike runs sweet now.. :)

well i got a gsxr400 to ride. but its broken, so i am ridding my tzr yet again :D

one mod i did was to change the rims. am using racing boy 17" rxz rims. little modification needed. juz a need to machine a few bushings. using 90/80 17" for the front and a 110/60 17" for the rear. mine is a drum brake model thou. 16" front and 18" rear can be a biatch..

additional modding were a rxz oversized disc and a tzm caliper. tzm pads are bigger but the caliper is a 2 pot floating design, compared to 2 pot front and back on the tzr caliper.

if you dont use the oversized disc, the tzm caliper will fit. without a bracket.

dunno which is better thou..

anyway about the hole in the bottom of the crank case, it seems purpose built. should one really patch it?
