ohhh okay, thanks for the info beb!! are you the one riding the green gilly ? my old gpr had the same prob too. my carbon fibre on the canister the colour had run out due to the heat. hoho, tts why i changed to the SBK to try out. anyways you did your bike at ahm ehh ?

 

Hmm,from ur description, im using the light grey one too where by the silencer is non detachable...bought 2nd hand ah,cheaper n the most obvious difference is the bike feels much much lighter than using stock pipe and the sound of cause...can show pic bro? if same pipe like urs than maybe i could check the probs too...

 

if im not wrong he's using the newer version of GPR.

 

yeah im using the new gpr aluminium.not the fixed silencer model.yeap my bike now under the care of AHong and Ah Chwee.. so far so good for me there.. price is reasonable,service is good,aftersales service oso tops. :thumb:

why invest on a pipe where if the 700 dols u cld in invest in other performance parts my bike did well wif a stock pipe ugly yes it is but end of the dae changing ur pipe wont take u to the moon how fast u ride is..

 

i would strongly disagree with that. With higher performance parts, u will definitely need better airflow and that involves open port filters and lighter constructed exhaust system. End of the day, the evaluation of the bike soley depends on everything that you have installed in your bike. Not just a thing or 2.

dalam banyak2 tayar tuk st200, wat tyres yg paling power as in reliable during dry n especially wet weather(more for everyday use)?

 

been reading some thread, some say michelin pilot sport, some say michelin gold standard.. so which is better? coz mine is stock MAXXIS.. suck to the max...dry road ok ar.. but during wet, had close shave experience where rear tyre lost grip especialli on painted marking on the road like zebra crossing n arrows.. thinking of changing, the other time went to workshop, they oso sae (ur bike u mod here and there not scared fall ar on ur MAXXIS tyre). they recommended gold standard but how abt u guys...?

PAKAI TAYAR TAMIYA....LEH DPT KAT TAI SING ENTERPRISE...ADA GAER SIOL KAT RIMS...

aniwae, im using pilot sport, good traction as it is soft compound...but the sad things, the wear and tear is super fast...

gold michelin not badlah.. its a touring tyre so will last longer than pilot.. abt the white stripe u meet on road when wet, all tyres tend to give way so avoid them esp the zebra crossing type..

 

soon i hope they make better tyres for 06 onwards.. soon..
