hai.. just sms ben can't make it.. as got small hiccup on bike which i think need immediate attention.. engine got smoke !!! and temp meter not moving even the engine is SOOO hot!! Knn i si bei suay buy this problematic bike. today i will go and reflect to the boss and see what can be done.. owner of this bike for the 3rd day and this is the 2nd time visiting back to the work shop.

like that i'm quite sure the bike inside all vry old parts liao. chk whether your sparkplug cap set spoil anot oso. by letting engine run, rev then spray water @ the front bottom of tank. if bike sudden no power like wana die means cap leak, water go in sparplug got wet. dat cost ard $200.

whao..didn't know republic got a G4 there..that time i went there only got alot of CBR400...anyway..since republic is a very new bike shop..i think they'll try their best to satisfy ur needs la...don't feel paiseh to ask them to replace the parts that are needed to be replaced

i stay in toa payoh. if u can guide me (a noob in GSXR as i just own it for a few day) and give me some clash course on how to maintain this baby.. i don't mind come to you pm me your address and contact if you can give me some advise if we can meet up for some remedial lesson

 

i have ask the sale person to see if can adjust the fork to be a bit higher so don't have to bent so low.. and also the handle wider so when U - turn, easier.. did a U turn, full lock to right and my hand is kinda touch the bike already. feel uncomfortable.. but the sale person say cannot adjust one.. is it true?

 

now i can still go back to the bike shop to do adjustment FOC if manage to find where goes wrong.. i quite noob in bike especially 2 year in riding a automatic scooter.. better to fix it before anything goes wrong. the bike shop quite nice too say if anything wrong just come back to them and he will fix it for me until i satisfy.. of coz can't abuse this priviellge la.. told him that if the performance working condition wise at least can fix until can work right.. if external i need changes i don't mind paying.. gam bor? lol..

 

bro.. i think u r having e same prob like mine bfore... go ask for urs spark pluge cap to b change, clean & tune urs carb...

yea.. saw a lot of CBR400 there.. hehe too ex for my budget for 2A sport bike.. i 1/2 sian liao since 2 1/2 day of ownership go "hospital" 2 times.. dunno what to say sia..

 

the bike shop boss Jimmy nice guy.. say anything go find them.. if can absorb will absorb as part of the deal. but seriously i understand there is only a limit what they can do FOC until i satisfy. now i only hope that this bike after this "operation" can work as per normal. .. no major fault and last me for the next 2 years... till it COE expires.

 

i don't mind wor.. can meet up with fellow G4-ers to exchange some pointer. if u guys got mod and nice can also recom to me wor.. u all thing can change the speedo and rpm meter panel to digital ?? any one know if can install fuel meter too??

my spocket size now is 43 if not wrong.

is it adviseable to lower the size or use back same?

i prefer pick up more than top.

i see unique post many brands, around the same price.

which sprocket is recommanded??

my carb leaks petrol from below, not very serious, not from the tube for overflow.

hmm..i think is the carb o-ring spoil already..i think guan hoe should be one of the cheapest place to replace it..at the same time can wash ur carb there...if i am not wrong for the whole set of o rings for our carb..guan hoe charge a few $$ only...other bike shops i think quite ex...like one piece can cost $10 kind...anyway according to guan hoe boss..he was saying by right everytime u wash carb...muz replace all the o-rings..lol..but i don't think alot of us do that la...anyway...i've never tried washing carb at guan hoe before..so if u happen to go there and wash ur carb + replace o-ring..can give a review of it?...coz i think i'm going to wash mine soon..thanks =)

hmm..u want to try LAB...=X there quite cheap...haha...DID chain + front & rear sprocket cost around $150..thunder chain(highly recommended by ah boy) with sprockets also $150...regina chain + sprocket i think is $140...

yesterday told me that there is a leakage near the engine or carb.. he not sure is oil leakage or coolant as he need to strip my wife bare to check.. now still no news so don't know full detail yet.

 

does anyone recommend to install bike alarm for G4? if so any recommendation? cheap and good i hope.

i was told that planet motor at ubi rd 3 know the bikes well as many G4 rider go there fix their problem there...
