hey ppl... it's mi... once again my bike is dead... i was out today... when i finally came home, i decided to go and pump petrol. when i finished paying.. i came back to my bike and can't start liao... sianzz...

i think the batt die again.. think is the prob asphoon mechanic told mi.. the rectifier is spoilt and the batt cannot charge...

now the bike is on a pavement near the shell station at redhill... so sianzz

guess i'll still have to get it towed to guan hoe...

fren advice mi to push start, but i scared later the bike fall.. so i decided to leave it... haI~ any suggestions??

Its bcoz of ur rectifier, causing this. And ur battery i think also gone case liao. Recitifer go buy from ah chong $50, or me $25, which is belong to hunt2, but his rectifier with me. Battery buy yuasa $43 at lab or those cheaper dry cell wan.

Find 1 slope, steep enuff for ur bike to rolll down. Put it as neutral then roll down ur bike.... when u rolling down halfway(u can hear ur wheel and chain spinning tat sound) 1- clutch in 2- kick to 2nd gear 3rd- throw ur clutch.. cannot release slowly. Then u will hear ur engine roaring lightly, then start to throttle.

Last time i push start my bike almost 2 weeks. All use slope wan. BUT all i can say is.. u onli have 1 chance... if fail.. haha.. good luck, push start it or u push up da slope roll down again.

Tow to guan hoe let chief mech (Mr Chew) do a full body check up for your bike. Rather den going to many other bike shops den problem reoccur again.

At least at guan hoe, if problem persists, Mr Chew will tell u wat to change and will not change unecessary parts for u, as such u will not spend extra money.

Basically, i have confidence in them tats y im telling u this. again, it brings back to the point most of us brought up here, service your bike at the bike shop u r most confident and comforatable with.

No more regrets.

the advantage of going to suzuki workshop is tat they dun need ur key to start ur bike.

they have a master key to all GSX400

tat time i was on MRT, suddenly felt my keys in my pocket.. i call back he told me "mian kia" dun scared, we have master key

u can go to ur bike, wait for ah leong to come tow ur bike, dne u follow him in his lorry

No more regrets.

alex: wah ciao, ur g4's number plate 3 digit ah? haha. Btw i saw ur paintwork at siglap. Almost da same lor, i though its urs.

icez: wah ur method shiong sial.. haha. Btw i cant use ur method, coz i duno how to walk n push. I sure lose balance n fall wan. haha

mickccm: ya la, dun go tow la, ur bike park where.. see tml morning how i help u start. I'm at NTU now, morning 8am going back bedok. If u can push start like wad icez said, u probably save $20 - $30 on towing. Ur battery is still new, i believe very easy to start wan. For da rectifier thing, up to u la, $25 onli, might as well try. U stay east side? If so can bring to 1 malay uncle, he wont charge ex wan. Plus he dun even have g4 rectifier, so he wont give u crap like saying... get a 1st hand rectifier, or said this $25 recifier spoilt wan , sai co u buy his shop's 1.
