YOu try it b4 or any ppl you know have done that.....Although follow in spec as in 12v55w/60w but old machine might not be able to take teh heat...scared teh glass might burn or crack.....Any bad experience from anyone???

Anyone here got lobang for rear sus and linkage for GSXR400RR? Brand new one cost 400 and linkage i dunno, but altogether, incl workmanship should be abt 5-600 bah..

 

I'm lost to do or not to do my bike... sigh...

suspension is very important especially cornering...may cause rear shock bouncy

it can be repair by replace new bearing* if im nt wrong.to check the susp..try press the pillion seat downwards...if its boucy...check ur suspension whether it is adjusted to maximum...if so..haiz..bad news for ya.

There are no compatible ones without doing mods to you swingarm. aftermarket ones cost almost the same price.... can consider...

pierre: looking for rear shock? U can call addictive ask him. Got a guy near his place scraping his g4. Or u might wanna look for GSXR750 '94 rear shock. Can fit too... somemore its serviceable. Go around ask lor or ebay. That 1 da cheapest i found ship to singapore onli around $170. I saw 1 CMI gsxr750 at siglap there, when ask wanna sell da rear shock anot, tat mech say it belong to someone de... ciao ! I think about rear shock u can ask S750WP. He noe more about this. His bandit400 last time use gsxr750 rear shock wan.

But actually wad happen to ur rear shock? leakage or too soft?

can la no problem one, won't melt unless u did not fix the bulb properly or u use h4 bulbs with watt higher than 60w, then i cannot give u any promise liao.

KS selling brand new suspension @ $330, and i know of a place that can do the installation for $50/=. It's at Eunos and the shop is call Eunos Autobike or wat la.

Well, unless u r going for track, if not don't bother to change the suspension. I rather u save the money to service e engine than to rebuild the suspension.

Pierre, u can pm this chap call huntu, oopz it's hunt2. he juz scrapped a gk73. think the rear susp can fix, but i think it's the same as our gk76a. Stupid Monoshock, which cannot be serviced at all. So likely is that, get a adjustable shock from gsxr750 or a brand new 1 from ks.

opss.. u'r saying this hunt2 ah.? All da long i though its another g4. His bike is slinghot. Its Gk73. KSP model... duno can fit anot leh da rear shock.

02-04 GSXR600/750 rear shock should fit the gsxr400 too. May need to remove the rear hugger for clearance of the piggyback on the shock. But don't mark my words for it, as I could be wrong. Nevertheless some of this shock is selling pretty cheap on ebay less than $30 not inclusive of shipping though

 

In US someone have install the above mentioned shock on the bandit400 by relocating the coolant reservoir and battery holder. For the G4 the only obstruction I see is the hugger
