Dunno, but there was an ex-racebike RGV250 (the curvy late model one) at the workshop that I usually visit. The mech said the forks measure up the same, except the caliper mounts are slightly smaller. G4 uses Nissin calipers, RGV uses Tokico ones.

 

GSXR750-WP's adjustable Showas have caliper mounts that match, but the fork bodies or sliders are 2mm bigger. Either I machine out my lower fork clamp to accommodate the extra width or try fit the Showa stanchion & internals into my current fork bodies. The Showa axle is also slightly bigger, so either way I'll also have to machine out the speedo gear hole slightly, change the wheel bearings to a bigger one and probably fabricate a metal sleeve bushing to take up the slack. Very, very mah fan...

 

Have any of you guys worn out your forks before? What did you guys do?

 

Can anyone hook me up with a good used pair?

actually the VJ23's forks should do the job... but then again u'll probably spend time and money in retrofiting new triple clamp .. after which u'd need new to change the brake calipers too coz the nissin ones doesnt fit the forks of the vj23... like u said.. it's very mafan... but i feel it's defiantely worth it... singaporeans typically live with the scuffed stanchios... they ermm normally dun stay with the 400 class long enuff to be bothered to change it...

Cos I had my friend check my bike and realised my linkage is worn out.. have to change the bearing or brush as ice said.. cost abt 100+ original suzuki..

 

Then my sus after checking out at Guan Hoe, Mr Han realised my sus is not original GSXR400RR rear sus but a Bandit. Its got not Dampener adjust below..
