not too long ago I was too hit by inferior fuel from our nearest neighbour, my ST1100 got serious engine knocking during acceleration, with a dosage of this treatment it successfully solved the plm, leaving me with almost none 'ticking' sound from engine area.

My gsxr4 can't start today while I was troubleshooting the none working front brake light switch.

 

The front brake light problem was traced to a broken wire just below the starter switch. Black wire with red tracer absence of 12v.

 

It so coincident the bike wasn;t ble to start and I tot I have fooked up the wiring when rectifying the brake lights. The problem was traced to the switch button contact which has gone rusty. After I sand the contact and measure its ok.

 

Earlier for the none working rear brake light switch was due to the spring on the brake switch disengage. After I hook up the spring to the brake pedal and tension the spring its ok now.

 

I had to cut all the wires on the right handle bar switch because I couldn't found where the other end leads to, its disappear somewhere behind the radiator and I was lazy to drain the coolant and take out all the fairing and radiator just to locate the connector.

 

Also tested my temp gauge, its working but it took a long time to heat up to 3/4 about 20-30mins and the fan is working too. Not sure if the previous owners have remove the thermostat.

 

Hope the info can help you guys for the troubleshooting.

whenever i start my engine in cold places, it would give out white white smoke, fumes or smoke not too sure. it's just white, but after awhile it will disappear.. is this normal?

paradox: yap its very normal.. After rain u go start also da same. Wah btw wad bulb u using sial? Seems very bright...

 

lum: apa ni.. where got thick or thin wan? U mean dyno jet needle ah? haha. Go get stock wan, its default size. Go eversuccess or KS, 1 piece $8 onli. Btw u damn retro leh.. lol.

Hi can collect the rider seat from you this week?? For the needle jet you need to open the carburetor top black cover to change it
