The brake discs are from EBC? confirm? The rear ones i can't tell cos dun haf any listing of it. The fronts ones look stock to me....

hey guys.. i donno if u guys saw my post ytd regarding my prob... anyway, today the same prob is still ard... i checked the level of black oil and realised that it seems to be empty, cld that be the prob... that's wy no strength and sounds like 2 sounds?? is it possible to top up the engine oil myself?? the previous owner gave mi one and a half bottle left of black oil, can i top it up myself?? anyone able to help mi out with this prob?? thanks...

engine oil are already gold in color, so I guess likely your EO is still quite new and clean. I think most likely some of your plugs are likely fouled. Spray water at your exhaust headers after abt 1 to 2 min starting up.. to see which plug is not working. Suggest change 4 at a time if u haven change the plugs be4.

U may want to get the denso spark plug from fjt or weida beside it for 5 bucks per plug. If u have spare doughs, u might wish to get your carb service as well. If your carb is dirty or watever, and if suay, the plugs might get fouled easily no matter how u many times you change the spark plug. I'm an idiot before, change spark plugs at bike shop for a couple of times be4 I get the freaking carb tuned and washed and the ngk normal plugs lasted me for abt 6k milage till now. WIll change the plugs and airfilter at 10k

Some symphtoms be4 I go for carb services and change new air filter,

- Before: super high fuel comsumption full tank, use until almost empty can go only 180km, After: can go until 250 to 260 before reserve

- Engine die after a slight high rev when starting of engine, idling is 0.5rpm. Problem likely caused dirty air filter.

After: Problem solved, nv never die for no reason before idling remains at 0.5rpm even after a high rev.

the thing is i changed my spark plugs abt a mth ago.. the guy told mi $10 each... actually i didn't see at the side of my bike from the gauge that my EO is gold, is that i have the bottle, i opened up and see... hee hee:cheeky: can i safely say that my bike is not having any major probs?? i can still ride for the time being?? just that pick up no strength, turn throttle no strength and sounds a bit funny due to the spark plugs??

new plug doesnt mean wun spoilt.n it spoilt due to alot of reason.most likely is tunning running out.or come to worst...ur cdi default.(chances r less)mayb u join us tomoro n we try to figure out for ya.

if it is not troublesome for u, i don mind... anyway, tml will be miting ben to get the coolant... maybe tml i try asking him.. see if he can give mi some suggestion... but in the meantime will have to see if the bike can tahan till sunday or not... so sianzzz

aiyooo...Gsxr problematic,doesn't means RVF or CBR no problem ma... heng sway nia. but there's quite a few G4 quite tip top condition. depends how u maintain it...same goes to other bikes ma. if ur fren rode a G4 b4...say it's problematic, mayb he got a lousy one lo.. normally the problem is onli the wear n tear thingy. wear n tear faster depends how u ride lo... heee

Bro, I posted a reply to ur previous prob, have u gone back thru the posts?

 

To check ur EO level, there is a small window on the right side of ur bike. The at the side near the bottom or jus below where u top up ur EO. U have to straighten the bike to check the EO level. Its not going to be black, if it is! GodSpeed to u! go change ur EO!

 

And like many of us has advised u to check ur plugs if they are faulty jus by using water or if u wan u can also tap the headers with ur finger. (dun place ur hand there! do it like how u check the kettle if its hot) the header that is cold shows that that particular plug is gone. When ur Carb is not washed n tuned b4, its common to have plugs dyin due to overflooding of the cylinder.

 

I strongly advice u to give the plugs a try! check it out. u may be running on the remaining 1-3 of the 4 plugs now, continue and soon u might c fuel leakin out of ur carb and worst, non of the plugs work. Happy pushing ur bike..

 

Dun worry thats the worst case scenario i can think of. jus give it a check k dude. There is only one wife in this world that will take care of u as much as u take care of it. U input rubbish it will give u rubbish, input good stuffs and u will find it giving u a good time. Wat is it? The Horse u take onto the road daily....
