i think da top wasnt really tat "need" to have it. I think its better to compete saying which bike takes da fastest time to reach tat speed.. Just like tzm claims that they can reach 200-220. G4 also can reach tat speed.. but problem is who can reach tat speed 1st?

 

Btw g4 is a good bike to ride la, got da raw power... got da sound.. somemore cheap. To source for 1, better look carefully.

raw and shiok power so can ride, ram and whack harder....

btw u think the r1 throttle can fix on g4 or not?

i think some cheap mods can even make smiles on ur face whenever u give it a sudden throttle.

 

- valve clearance $100+

- K&N air filter $120 / 2nd hand $40

- proper tuning at K&T $80

- Denso iridium plugs $56

- removal wire mesh at header $50 at K&T

 

But b4 all these, better get ur forks,rear shock, tyres, brakes all do up 1st.

 

 

Those wanna buy g4, better get 1 guy who ride 2A or ride g4 go test for u. Dun later like tat time got 1 joker come test my bike. Travelling at 40km/hr at 4th gear somemore go up slope, later return back tell me my bike engine die when going up slope. Duno how to use proper gear and somemore just halfway through his 2B journey. Best part is he later comment bad things abt g4.

Sial i duno leh, i think can ba. Its more like a fast throttle like tat.. haha. Quite good leh, now throttle abit then move alot liao, somemore da grip also not bad. I fix at ahboy's mech tat BIG SIZE guy, he charge me $5. Actually wanted to go Darkvader's place, but i cant wait till next week somemore nothing to do. haha.

Where can i get 1st hand Knn air filter>? The wiremesh you mention izzit to protect yr radiater for kana those small little debris in JB??? :confused:

K&N air filter go find ever successs, or FJT.

Think they carry it.

 

He's talking abt the wire mesh inside the header, cant be seen on the outside. Its something like those cat converters in ur muffler. they restrict the output. remove the wire mesh + use a straight thru pipe = top speed.

 

Pick up depends on individual rider, some say lose some say faster. I think initial pick up will lose out, mid-range onwards will b better.

Personally, i think using a k&n filter wo jet kits and race can is under utilsing the potential.

 

Though re usable, how much does the cleaning agent cost? if u ride in the long run as in riding it for yrs, yes i believe it'll save, but if its jus a passing stage where in 1 or 2 yrs ur selling it off.. think abt it again. But if u got spare cash.. go ahead lor... jus my personal opinion.. KPO abit...

Original air filters cost $38, more or less depending on where you go. Knn filter cost 100+. one original air filter lasts abt 6-7 months(varying) So basically after use for 1 1/2 years you basically break even. Added advantage of being able to keep it clean whenever you feel like it.

i changed to NGK wan.. the "2head" instead of the 1 needle "lousy" ... cliamed by the mechanic...

 

enjoyed the ride so far... very shiock.. just sometime abit set backs.. haha.. dont know how to take care hmmm...

how often must i go for the filter wash.. cuz hor the mechcanic told me he suspect the filter abit block.. wanna wash... but i say i come back again cuz i scare kenna "tok" wahaha... as well as when to go for tuning..

I think it's perfectly ok to mention abt the modz. This is a forum for everyone to share, to regulate, to have fun also. If there's ppl who got enuff vitamins M to do up the mods, let them be, else I see no issue abt modz that u mentioned will cause so much hoo haa.. and debate as well.

 

Nevertheless, G4 is shiok to corner, but i still prefer cornering with my o' infamous milo can rs. Sadly, it's a b!tch to own her!
